A/n There are mentions of self-harm and suicide in the following story.

On to the story....

Blood...everywhere. Blood on my clothes, my hands, the sink, the floor.

She trembles as she watches the blood from her paper cuts. She lets out choked cries of sorrow and pain. All alone in the bathroom, a fair skin girl with long, flowing black hair sits on the ground; trembling and crying as the razor sits bloody and abandoned on the bathroom counter. She doesn't truly know when this happened, only that she can't go back now. Her parents were out, playing with her siblings while she was forgotten at home...no, their house. She no longer considered that place home. She wasn't loved there or anywhere else. Her friends were too busy with other people for her. They didn't notice her fading; her lacking appetite; her lost interest in her usual interest; the bags under her eyes; the sudden change in her personality. She didn't blame them, though. They have people they care and love and a life of their own. She didn't feel she was apart of those lives anymore.

Shaking slightly, she stands up and picks up the razor again. The girl pulls her self out the bathroom, a trail of blood following behind like a shadow. She goes off to find a rope, to hang herself. She thought, 'It's better if I die. They wouldn't miss me. They don't care. One less child for my parents. One less person to drag my friends down. One less person in this world to hate.'

As she finds the rope, she stumbles to her back yard; which leads to a forest behind their house. The girl stumbles as she walks to a good spot. She was several yards away from the backyard and set the noose up. As she pulls the rope around her neck, she whispers her goodbyes before letting go.

That night with the girl's family.

The father called for the girl. She did not come when she was called. He shouted several more times before he started to her room. The father stood frozen as he came upon the trail of blood. Panic pulsed in his veins as he followed the trail of blood to her cold, dead body. Slowly, he took the body down and holds her body close. He stokes her hair and whispers sorry over and over again to her.

Ending
The girl's family was in shock after finding out the death of the oldest child. Her friends and family mourned over her death. One friend whom had loved her more than just a friend had loved her more than just a friend had dropped into a state of depression and struggled to over come the death. Her father maintains her room and occasionally sits in her room and reads her favorite children books to the essence of the girl that was left in the room.
