Reunited

Chapter 1

This chapter is set on the Quantock hills, in Somerset, which is a county in England. Tris and Tobias are younger. In two chapters time it will be in Chicago and they are the nomal age. Love ya Pansycakes! Be Brave! xxx

BEA/ BEATRICE / TRIS

Me and Toby run up along the Quantock to our secret place, by the steam, under the canopy of trees. You can see for miles. On side of us, you can see the sea. On the other, Somerset. It is such a beautiful county. In the Autumn, my dad lets me try some cider which he home brews, and in the winter, the hills are brilliant for sledging down when it snows.

Me and Toby are best friend, some think we are brother and sister. I'm 11, he is 13. I'm in year 7 and he is in year 9. We have know each other ever since I can remember. He saved my life from being run over by a bus when I was 3. We have been inseparable ever since. Yes, I do fancy him, but I think I am too young to love anyone, but I don't think he is. I'm scared that he will fall in love with some other girl, and leave me.

We run hand in hand, the wind runs through my hair and the wind makes our faces red. It's just us and nature. The wild ponies come over to us and we pat them. We lie in the shade, in comfortable silence. Everything is perfect when I am with him.

"Bea," he says to get my attention.

"Yer."

"I've got this for you." Out of his pocket he pulls a silver oval locket with 'Bea & Toby' engraved on the back. Inside the was a picture of both of us last summer.

"Aw, it's beautiful. Thank you Toby." I lean forwards and hug him.

We walk back down the hills, back into our village and head our own ways. I only things that he doesn't talk to me much about is his parents. I never go round to his house and it was years ago since I last met his father.
