Chapter 4

My brother flies through my bedroom door and wakes me up.

"Come on Beatrice. We're going to be later for our first day at school."

"OMG Caleb. You're such a nerd. We have got 2 hours until we have to be at school," I say looking at the clock. It's 6:00 and we have to be there by 8:00. Plenty of time.

I get up anyway. I have a quick shower and throw on a black v-neck top which shows three raven I have on my collar bone which I got for my 16th birthday, also I put on some black skinny jeans and my black wedged high-tops. I want some friends this year, which means being noticed. I apply some black eye liner, mascara and a pale pink lip stick. I sweep my dirty blond hair to one side of my head. I have that emo look, with out looking like a emo, if you get what I mean.

I get my black/purple Mi bag ready for school and go down stairs to have a quick breakfast.

I kiss my mum and dad good-bye and get into my new black Ferrari. with Caleb already in the passenger seat. I'm the only one out of us two which can drive, even though Caleb is older than me. I think he is too scared.

I turn on 'King for a Day' by Pierce the Veil and sing from the top of my voice.

"Okay Beatrice," Caleb complains. "I admit that you are good at singing, but please stop singing such crappy songs."

"Says the boy who listens to One Direction. That's just sad."

When we pull up in the parking lot at school, a bunch of boys stare opened mouthed at my car. I ignore them and start to head inside.

"Have a good day Beatrice. Please stay out of trouble," Caleb says.

"Yer, what ever Father," I say making my own way to the office, which I have no clue where it is.

I bump into a girl. She has dark skin, and she has looks which come kill.

"Oh my, I'm sorry," I say, helping her pick up the books that she has dropped.

"Na, it's okay. Oh, are you new?"

"Um, yer. Could you show me to the office?"

"Of course, follow me."

When we get to the office, the lady at the desk says, "Hello, how can I help you?"

"My name is Beatrice Prior. I'm new. Could I have my shedual?"

She looks through a file then pulls out a piece of paper. "Ah, here you go. Have a nice day," she says handing it to me then waving us out of the room.

3rd - Physical Education - Coach Amar

4th - Science - Mrs Matthews

5th - Computer Studies - Mr Elgort

Lunch

6th - PSHE - Mrs Lancaster

7th - Maths - Mr Waters

8th- Music - Miss Wu

"Oh, yer, by the way I'm Christina," she says releasing a free hand to shake on of my own. "Can I have a look at your shedual?" I hand it to her and after a few moments she starts screaming "OMG, OMG, OMG! We have all of our classes together! It's like we're destined to be best friends. Come on, I'll show you the rest of the gang."
