Chapter 4



As we walked hand in hand through the hallway, we stumbled across Stacey and Luke in the corner.

Luke had his arm draped around Stacey shoulders and they both were gazing into each others eyes,

sharing an intimate moment.



Damn they were so cute together, I couldn’t help but bubble over with happiness. Stacey finally landed

her dream guy and they appeared to be making each other happy. I sighed thinking about my own non-

existent love life. Will I ever find someone to make me that happy?



Coming into Stacey’s eye line, she turned to me with a huge grin on her face. As her eyes gazed over at

me and Elrin’s interlaced hands, she gave me a knowing look to say that I better spill everything later.

I nodded, when reality hit me hard reminding me that I needed to use the restroom. Slipping my hand

out of Elrin’s, instantly missing his cool touch, I frowned but knew if I didn’t go now I was going to pee my

pants. Damn those beers….




“Hey guys I gotta run to the little girl’s room, be right back.” 




Not waiting for a response I rushed to the nearest restroom. After relieving myself, I sauntered over to the sink to wash my hands. The bathroom door swung open to reveal Erica…shit. Seriously is God

trying to punish me right now, first I run into Eric and now Erica. This is really turning into one of the

crappiest days ever.



Erica, summed up was the biggest bitch at our school and happened to be Eric’s twin sister. I know wha

t you’re thinking…Eric and Erica, yeah their parents are obviously not the cleverest of people. 




Erica was like devil incarnate, she loved to make my life a living hell.  She started to strut over to me, flipping her long blonde hair, looking over at me with a disgusted face. 



I hastily dried my hands hoping to avoid her and began walking towards the exit. As I reached for the

door, her arm shot out in front of me blocking my path. 




“Look freak, I am only going to tell you this once. Elrin is mine, so you better stay the hell away from

him” she said with a dangerous tone.




As I looked into her blue eyes, chills ran through my body from her icy stare. This girl was seriously

psycho, but no way hell am I going to let her know she scares me.




Pushing my fear down I replied smugly, “Oohh I’m so scared. What are you going to do, hit me? No I

don’t think so…you wouldn’t want you to break one of your precious nails…”




“Aww look who’s trying to be all brave. Have you already forgotten what I am capable of doing? Do I

need to remind you?” she smirked. 



My face grew pale of memories began flooding my mind. I needed to escape, there was no way I was

going to let her see me breakdown…I pushed her aside roughly and opened the door.
