Chapter 3: The lost demon princess

*James Underworld*

   "Dom? Is this your dad?" I asked stepping behind him and squeezing his arm.

   "Em meet Zeus the God of lightning. Dad meet Emma the new recruit in our group."

   "Pleasure to meet you." Zeus held out for me to shake but Dominic tensed his muscles.

   "I dont know if I could say the same." I kept my hand on Dominic's arm just nodding.

   "Lets go guys I dont want to miss the party." Sabrina hooked our arms and hopped in three truck. Dominic got in the passenger and Lucas and James got in the back with us. The car was in complete silence. Zeus would try to talk to me but Dominic would always say it Wasnt his business.

   "Do you have to always interrupt me?" Zeus barked

   "You're interrogating her like she is a criminal" Dom barked back

   "Im just getting to know my son's best friend."

   "Just shut up and get us to the party." Dominic turned the stereo up and the news came on.

   "ATTENTION ALL UNITED STATES CITIZENS A GROUP OF HIGHSCHOOLERS KIDNAPPED THEIR FELLOW CLASSMATE EMMA JOHNSON. IF YOU SEE THESE PEOPLE OR KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEM PLEASE CONTACT THIS NUMBER. 6 4 3 6 2 8 8 0..."

   My breath hitched, they're looking for us. A hand rests on each of my shoulders and one on my knee. I looker and the boys were watching me as if they've seen a ghost.
   "Emma breathe." James instructed
   "I need some fresh air." I said. We pulled up to the party and I hopped out of the car.
   "Emma stop." James said
   "I need something to drink ok Im fine." I sped walk to the door of the mansion.
   "Emma stop!" he yelled this time. I forced myself to turn around and look at the group of people staring at me from the truck. A tear slipped down my face and I quickly swiped it away.
   "Im fine! I just need to get something to drink!" I turned around and ran straight into a hard chest. Stumbling backwards I grabbed my head.
    "Dude watch where you're going."
    "I believe you ran into me child. Now go join your little group of friends before you get hurt." I snapped my eyes open and stared at the tall man.

   For some reason his facial features look so similar. I froze, if he is who I think he is I was in grave danger. I slowly walked backwards and withthe look on my face he knew I was scared. A hand grabbed my waist and forced me behind them.

   "What are you doing here?" James said in almost a snarl. He pulled me closer to him as his breathing increased.

   "Why son I could ask you the same question, but I rather not for it seems you are still unhappy. What I would like to ask is, who is this beautiful young lady?"

   "Her name is Emma." Hades posture stiffened and his eyes grew dark.

   "May I ask who is your mother?"

   "Venus." I answered. A feeling of hurt washed over my body.

   "I best be on my way." he nodded his head and walked towards the mansion.

   The feeling faded as soon as he got closer to the building. Was I feeling his emotions? Why did he ask about my mother and tense at my name? James turned around and nodded for the rest to follow. He grabbed my hand and lead me towards the mansion in a deadly silence not that I minded, I need some time to think. Music blared as soon as we entered and sweaty bodies were bumping into each other. I squeezed James hand and walked over to the bar.
  
   "What is Hades dong here?" I whisper shouted at him

   "I dont know but he is up to no good. Stay here and keep watch while the rest of us follow through the plan." he walked off and went to go find Dominic. I grabbed a red solo cup and asked the bartender to pour me some crown and coke. The music made my ears bleed and I tried to think about something else besides people bumping into each other.

   "Arent you gonna dance?" I whipped my head to the side and a tall muscular figure leaned up against the bar.

   "No Im not thank you very much, Im actually waiting for the right guy to come and swoop me off my feet. Too bad he isn't here yet." I said sipping my drink.

   "To bad but while you are waiting for him, let me occupy you for a while. My name is Josh by the way." he snickered.

   "Im good. Have fun hooking up with other girls." I turned the opposite direction and started walk off when a hand grabbed my wrist. I snapped my head towards my attacker to the same guy except with green eyes and stared me down..

   "You are going to stat right here baby doll." something on his voice tempted me to listen to him. I tried to pull away but my body wouldnt respond. A smirk appeared on his face and then a fist pops him in the face.

   "Get your hands off of her!" a low growl came from Dominic. Was he the one who punched him?

   "Or what?" the guy stands and wiped his bloody nose. A body jumps in front of me and pushes me against his back, James.

   "Or we'll kill you with our bare hands." Dominic said motioning towards James and Lucas who was right behind me.

   "That's sweet, her bother and his friends all trying to protect her from me. To bad your parents arent here to stop you." he roared. Now a whole group of people have gathered around the commotion to find out what was going on.

   "Dominic lets get out of here before we cause a bigger scene." Sabrina placed a hand on his shoulder.

   "What do you mean brother?" I said

   "Awww you didn't tell her Dominic? That's a shame. You sweety are James' baby sister, you know, the one that got ripped away from him and your father." my heart stopped, Im the baby sister James was talking about. A tear slipped down my cheek.
  
   "YOU'RE LYING!" James yelled

   "Am I?"

   "He is not lying son." Hades stepped out of the crowd with his head hung low.

   "Dad?" I said stepping from behind James.

   "Hi Emma." I backed away and bolted to the exit. Shoving past the group of people I heard James and Hades yell after me. It started to poor and my hair became soaked.
   I ran past Zeus' truck and into the woods. My body aches but I forced myself to keep running. I curled up next to a burned down tree and cried myself to sleep.

Sorry I haven't uploaded a lot I have had so many PEcs to study. Ill try to publish nore. How many of all thought James and Emma would get together?
