We camped and joked around for a while as we sit around the fire. James went over the plan for the one millionth time earning groans from everyone.
“ok ok it's getting late and we need to be up early.” Sabrina said shoving the plans back into James pocket. I grabbed Lucas’ hand and we walk to our black tent that was propped up in a makeshift circle around the fire.
“Night guys AND no funny business.” I chuckle and use my free hand to point sternly at them.
“That goes for you too missy.” I glance at Lucas who had an evil smirk on his face and as I ducked into the tent he yelled something to the group.
“No promises!” I burst into laughter and zipped up the tent ooce he was fully in. I layed on my side and snuggled into the pillow.
“Baby come here please.” I scooted backwards until my back was fully pressed against Lucas’ torso.
“Whatever happens tomorrow please come back to me.” his heavy arm snaked around my waist pinninging me there. I rolled over and look up into his desperate eyes.
“I promise.” I buried my face into his chest as he squeezes me tighter. This would be our last time together and he doesn't even know. I keep my tears at bay and let his heart beat whisper sweet lullabies in my ear.
Few hours later
“EVERYBODY UP NOW!!” I jumped awake along with Lucas who stared at the tent zipper with a look of hatred. A hand unzipped our tent and a gun was pointed inside.
“GET OUT!” I crawled out and stood in the clearing with the rest of the group wit a hit of fear dancing in their eyes but mostly anger. Lucas stepped out beside me and grabbed my hand slightly putting me behind him.
“Great job Hick.” the voice sent chills down my spine and I clung to Lucas more.
“So are we doing this the hard or easy way Emma?” John asked clearly seeing me cower in fear.
“She isn't going anywhere bastard!” Lucas growled.
“Hard it is. Load them in the van and put handcuffs on them.” John barks. Men dressed in full army suits grabs my hands and force them behind my back. A whimper escapes my lips as tears form at my eyes. The handcuffs were freezing and I could feel my energy slowly being drained. Lucas’ and deacons were solid silver, Hope and Sabrina were made out of Coral which will slice their skin if they struggled, Dominic and Sam’s were made out of regular metal James looked nauseous as they placed freezing ones on him. We were all forced inside a van while the guards kept loaded guns at our heads.. Lucas kept his amber eyes focused on the boy who had his gun against my temple. My eyes slowly began to droop and I can feel my body giving up.
“Please take them off of them! They are going to die!” Hope wailed.
“Shutup!” the guard shoved the gun against her temple and my blood boiled.
“KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OF HER!” I growled revealing my marks and black eyes. The guy immediately cowered at the venom in my voice. I let my eyes turn to normal and slumped over my knees cradling myself.
“Emma keep your eyes open!” James grunted at the pain. The cold metal was nipping at my skin.
“Get them off of her she can't take it!” Lucas barked at Hick who sat in the driver's seat dead silent I could feel Johnson smirk from the passenger seat.
“I'm so sorry.” I whispered. I picked up my head and began to bang my head against the steel wall.
“STOP HER!” John yelled. The guard unlocked the handcuffs letting my body go limp. I slumped to the floor and quietly gained my strength.
