"I must be dead then." I said as I stared at the boy. He had brown hair, fair skin and slightly blue eyes. He actually looked like some actor rather than the god of death.

"Close but no, not yet anyways." He chuckled. Psyche stepped closer and looked at him closely.

"You look oddly appealing for death." She told him.

"Well to most teenagers death is more appealing than facing their problems so doesn't that make sense?" He asked. We nodded.

"So what do we owe this pleasure, Death?" Toni asked her.

He walked over to the balcony to the room, "How was your dreams, Ms Nyx? It appears you have quite the story to tell."

My friends looked at me and so I told them what happened. Meeting Nyx, the three corners and Hades in Tartarus. All the two could do was stare at me.

"It is as I thought." Thanatos said. My friends turned to him.

"The way Nyx spoke it was almost certain, you'll need her power soon." Toni said as a matter of fact.

"And we definitely made the wrong move." Psyche said. "We were so focused on protecting you from the Lyons that we tried to deal with them first but now I see we should've focused on Jake."

"Death and I mean Jake, not me, will be your greatest challenge. The previous years he had Persephone and it's clear now that he harbors some sort of hatred against you." Thanatos informed me. I tried thinking how I missed all this, how I was so selfish with Jake. He cried when Caitlyn fell.

"How do I help him?" I asked Thanatos. The room fell quiet with all the pacing and thinking.

"For that my niece, you will have to fight him. Show Hades that even the night is darker than the underworld. And the first step was your first dream." He answered. He walked forward and gripped my shoulder. "Hopefully I'll never see you again niece."

And like that he disappeared. Not like a flock of birds or fading but he just vanished. I stared at the place where he was. An icy feeling lingered on my shoulder: Death's touch. This wasn't gangster, godling Death, this was pure Death. I never thought there would be a difference but there clearly was.

"Isn't it too late?" Toni asked. "I know that he always was a jerk but when he needed us we weren't there. How will he take us this time?"

She was right.

We stayed the rest of the day in what I discovered was a hotel. We were in no mood to depress ourselves even more so Psyche crashed in the room and Toni and I in the living room. We were just watching the same channel when a sudden news broadcast interrupted Naruto.

"We interrupt this program, to bring you disturbing news." The news reporter spoke urgently. We sat up straight, on alert. "Aeolus City will have, reportedly, the most massive storm in over a century. Viewers are warned to stay inside at all costs for high percentage of thunderstorms, hail, lightning and possible tornado. The first tornado in South African history and Aeolus city history. Thank you and be safe out there. May god help us all."

The program came back on, but we didn't move. The information just went on and on in my head, replaying. But finally one thought came to mind.

"They are here."

We were driving into the storm. Thunder rumbled, shaking the windows of the car. Behind us were two more Remnant cars. In this one was me, Toni, Psyche, Daniel and Bradlin. I was driving.

"Just listen, okay?" I asked again. "In my dream there were three corners. One was filled with a thunderstorm, a raging sea and an earthquake. According to the news, there's going to be a thunderstorm. That has to be Zeus. Tornadoes can form on land and in the sea but I'm willing to bet that's Poseidon. They're here, and they're looking for Hades."

"And that's where we'll find Jake?" Bradlin asked. She'd been brought up to speed on the way.

"Exactly." I answered. Psyche, riding shotgun, shook her head. "Well if there's a Thales anywhere in the world, he'll probably be in the place no one else wants to go."

It certainly was. It was only two pm but it looked like night outside. Lightning flashed, thunder rolled, rain plastered the front scream and wind buffeted the car. I was anxious to say the least. Two of the most powerful gods were supposedly in there. A supposed hunch made on my account. We could die by a storm or die by Godly hands. Neither was one to look forward to.

We pulled up to The Pentagon and parked. We pulled on hoodies and got out, but I hesitated. My hoody was Jake's. A white hoodie with the red Remnant symbol on it. It still smelled like him in that annoying boy way.

Somebody rapped their knuckles on the window. A clear sign to hurry up. I pulled the hoodie on, breathed his scent in and got out.

Outside was chaos. Rain battered my the hoodie and seeped through it like it was nothing.

"What's going on? I can't see anything." I shouted over the rain, but Psyche grabbed my head and moved it in a direction.

Lightning flashed and suddenly two men were standing down the street, two men that looked a lot like Jake but older and possible better versions.

Zeus and Poseidon have arrived.
