(Your POV)

—————————————————
The lion looked hungry, as if it had been starved. The whole arena went silent, with only the wind whistling in your ears. You gasped, drawing the wild cat's attention. You gulped as the lion growled and charged in your direction. You froze, wide-eyed, like a deer in headlights. Before you knew what happened, there was a searing pain in your thigh. You looked at your leg to see that the lion had sunk it's yellowing teeth into your thigh. You screamed.
Hunter stared at you. He wasn't helping you, and that was unforgivable to you, if someone is clearly in pain. Even if they were your enemy.
You raised your spear and hesitated. I'm sorry lion. You plunged the sharp object into the lion's neck. It ripped your leg off in revenge, and the pain was unbearable. You screeched, but the lion wasn't dead yet.
You ignored the excruciating pain and turned to Hunter, fury in your eyes. He gulped. Before you could attempt to make your way towards him, the almost dead lion lunged at him, knocking him to the sandy ground.
There, the lion died on top of the man. To him, the lion was deadweight. You took this opportunity to used your blue coat to stop the bleeding and crawl over to him. You pulled yourself up with the spear and gently pushed the lion off of him. You pinned Hunter down with your remaining leg.
"Any last words?" You asked him.
"Good luck with sight after this." He said. Then he took his spears and stabbed your eyes. You shrieked and blindly pierced Hunter's chest, making him go limp.
You held your face. Blood and pain made it impossible to see anything, before you fell to the ground.
Then you realized that you had two options. Either keep the spears in your eyes and die, or take them out with your eyes and have a small chance of surviving. You went with the second option.
You ripped a piece of your pants off and wrapped the black fabric around your eye sockets. The arena was dead quiet. Then loud cheering erupted. A few people started to carry you out of the arena and bring you - somewhere.
(Tori's POV)
"The code word is red, do you read me?" I whispered into my pager.I got multiple replies from my soldiers, all saying "red" or "rød". I narrowed my eye.
"You have your orders, now go!" I demanded. Then the city streets were flooded with my soldiers. A few screams were heard as I rampaged my way throughout the city. I finally reached a building that read 'Green Base'.
Why would they make it that obvious? I entered the building quietly, making sure it wasn't a trap. My soldiers followed me in when I gave them the signal.
I rampaged through the building, killing any unfortunate soul to get in my way. I stopped when I saw a surviving male.
"Where is Y/N Thompson?" I asked, intimidating him to the point that he was trembling violently.
The man pointed in the direction of a white corridor. I pushed him out of the way and went down the hallway.
I eventually reached the end of the hall, which had a door with a sign that read 'Y/N Thompson'. I barged in to see two women in the room with Y/N lying on a medical bed, missing a leg and with bandages frantically wrapped around her optical area.
"Red leader ... please don't hurt us! We were trying to help her!" A brunette begged. "I'm Abbigail." She kneeled down. The other woman, which was Green leader, seemed infuriated.
"What happened to her eyes?" I turned to face Green.
Green laughed nervously. "Well, I sent her out into a battle with another person for my own amusement and a lion tried to eat her leg then the other contestant stabbed her eyes."
I aimed my pistol at her, firing multiple times. When the smoke cleared, she was gone.
"WHERE IS SHE?" I shouted.
"Ugh ... it reeks of cigarettes and communism. Wait why can't I see? Oh yeah, someone stabbed my eyes and I had to take the spears out for myself, which took the eyes." Y/N's weak voice muttered humorously.
"Alright. You're Abbigail, right?" I turned to the green-eyed brunette.
"Um- yes." She quickly replied.
"You're coming with us. You did say that you wanted to join the Red army." I stated.
Abbigail nods.
"Can we leave? Also ..." Y/N asked. "What does my leg look like? Is it bad?"
"It's pretty bad ... I'll see if I can put some robotic parts together and give you a prosthetic leg as well as a visor for your eyes." I answered.
"Cool. Thanks." She responded simply.
"Now. Let's go." I ordered.
(Paula's POV)
"I hope Tori and Y/N are okay." I sat in the helicopter with Patricia as we waited for Tori."I'm sure they're fine, Paula. Tori may be impulsive, but she plays it safe. Especially when it comes to Y/N." Patricia nudged my shoulder.
"How long do you think it'll be before they get together?" I asked playfully.
"I say ... a couple months." She laughed. "Maybe shorter."
"Me too." I responded.
"Hey Paula," Patricia looked at me, her voice sincere. "I noticed that Tori seems to avoid you. The two of you used to be so close."
"It seems like someone messed with her memories." I pondered. "I'm not sure."
"We're here." A familiar voice announced from behind. It was Tori, carrying Y/N who was missing a leg and had bloody bandages wrapped over her face. Walking next to Tori was a brunette with green eyes.
"What happened to Y/N? Who's that?" Patricia's brown eyes darted back and forth from Y/N to the brunette.
"I'll explain later." Tori said.
"But we have to get to the base."
