(Your POV)
It was silent.

Way too silent.

You noticed that the guard that was meant to patrol the hallway would constantly check on you. When he stopped, it was extremely suspicious. The stars were out, but the moon was missing. Something was seriously wrong, and you weren't just going to lay around, doing nothing.

There was a faint sound of metal clanking in the corridors. It was coming closer to your room. At this point, you were terrified. It was exactly like those horror videos that you used to watch before bed and you would never fall asleep those nights.

Mustering all the courage you could, you lightly picked the pager up that Tori set by your bed in case you needed her. You turned it on as the clanking metal noises were drawing near.

A few buttons were on the pager; there was a blue button which you pressed to speak; a green button you pressed to listen; and a red button to sound an alarm. You clicked the blue button.

"Tori, I think there's someone in the base." You whispered as quietly as you could. The sounds of metal were getting closer and closer until they were in your hallway. You frantically pressed the green button to listen for anything at all.

No one was answering your cry.

The clanking metal was so loud now that it was right outside your door. You pretended to be asleep and glanced over to the door. One brown eye was peering into the room, and you could tell that whatever was out there was smiling. You were too horrified at this point to think, so you pressed the red button.

The loud shriek of a siren echoed throughout the corridors, waking everyone in the base. Soldiers in the nearest quarters cane rushing to the medical ward, but the figure outside your door burst through the entryway to reveal themselves.

It was Green leader.

Why does this always happen to me? It's as if I'm the main character in a book where the author is like, 'yes, I shall have every single bad thing I can think of happen to you'.

(Tori's POV)
"Red leader! Red leader! There's an intruder inside the base at the medical ward! Someone said they looked like the Green leader!" A soldier shook me awake. I wasn't asleep due to the blaring alarms in my ears. And the fact that Y/N was in the medical ward and it might be Green leader!

I threw my overcoat on and dashed to the medical ward. I arrived just in time to see a sharp knife being held to Y/N's neck as she struggled against the grasp of Green leader, who was laughing maniacally and pressing closer. Tears were streaming down Y/N's face as her digital eyes were squeezed shut. I noticed two purplish monster horns were on the sides of Y/N's head while her skin was turning light purple and her teeth were becoming razor sharp, as if they could snap a neck in seconds.

"Let go of her." I ordered. Green leader narrowed a single brown eye and laughed. The grip around Y/N's neck loosened. Y/N attempted to escape but the blonde kept Y/N securely in a headlock. The monster-like features on Y/N became noticeable to Green leader, whose eye portrayed a little bit of fear and defeat.

"I don't think so." Green leader smirked evilly and 'hugged' Y/N tighter. "In fact, I think I'll keep her. Monster DNA like hers is very valuable, you know." The blonde pressed the blade into Y/N's skin, but she didn't make a cut.

Nonetheless, a light purple liquid flowed out from the place Green leader's knife was placed. Y/N screamed like there was no tomorrow. Green leader laughed at Y/N's pain.

"Leather-like skin. That's rare. I think I'll have fun experimenting on you." Green leader giggled.

Y/N seemed unable to keep herself under control. She went full blown monster and threw Green leader across the room. The blonde slammed into a wall with a sickening thud and slumped down, seemingly dead.
Did the hit snap her spine?

I took the short time I had to observe her features. Her skin was a medium shade of magenta, with her teeth and claws being a pinkish purple. Her visor fell off - luckily it wasn't broken, because it fell onto her bed - to reveal one large, black eye in the center of her face. She had a stubby tail and bull-like horns that were striped with purple. She was ginormous; a lot smaller than monster Tamara though. Small enough to fit inside the medical room she was in.

She turned to look at me. To my surprise, she shrank and became the size of a mountain lion. She mewed playfully and ran around at my feet, as if the whole thing with Green leader and screaming never happened.

"Aw, you're even cuter as a small monster." I picked her up. She wasn't heavy at all, only weighing at approximately fifty pounds. (Keep in mind that I'm using pounds because I live in America. And if fifty pounds seems like a lot remember that Tori is extremely strong.)

She squealed in delight and snuggled into my chest. I smiled and blushed. I gestured some of my soldiers to check Green leader's body to see if she was dead or still alive. She was still breathing, just barely. I ordered them to get her into a medical bed and try to get her stable, because if I let her die, I'll never hear the end of it from Y/N.

I carried the now purring Y/N to my office so I could do paperwork until she turned back to normal.

-Time Skip to your POV-

You woke up and looked at your hands. They were purple paws with pinkish claws. And you were laying on top of Tori's desk. And Tori was sleeping in her chair.

Startled, you leapt off of the desk, scattering papers all over the floor. You looked around, searching for a place to hide. You saw a bookshelf and ran behind it, on all four paws.

Tori began to wake. She sat up in her chair and looked around.
"Y/N? Where are you?" The Red leader stood up and searched the room, peeking behind every object. You held your breath as she neared your hiding spot. She peered behind the bookshelf and you squealed, backing against the wall. She easily moved the bookshelf and picked you up, due to your small size. You squeaked.

"Found you~"
