Kevin POV
So nothing weird about this. Just singing and beatboxing to the second song in the chicken album. First song, the chicken song. This song, the pizza song. Im just heading back to the hospital with the pizza orders. I walk into the hospital. The nurse gave me a weird look, but then shrugged it off ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. (Lol) I walked into Kirstie's room, to find the most adorable sight I have ever seen. I was right to ship them. Kirstie and Avi were alseep, cuddling in the hospital bed. Nothing weird. All it looks like it that they fell asleep hugging. And smiling. Naturally, I did what any good best friend would do. I took one slice of each of their pizza and put it on their faces. They woke immediately. Kirstie took it off her face and started yelling at me. Expected. Avi started eating it while it was still on his face. Also expected. Kirstie slapped Avi on the arm and told him to eat properly. He immediately followed her orders and ate it normally. Now that Kirstie has calmed down a bit, she started to eat her slice. I sat down and started to munch on my piece. One hour later, all the pizza is gone. Kirstie is laying on her face in her bed, Avi is taking a nap on the floor, he ate almost two boxes. I don't know how he got there, or how he's gonna get back into the wheelchair. He probably rolled off the bed awkwardly, he only has one leg and one arm that can help. Aaaaand I am just staring at the ceiling. Kirstie moaned and shifted. Then she started to wince. Then breath heavy. I was on high alert. Almost as if on cue, Avi arose from his slumber and pushed himself on the floor to where his wheel chair was. He lifted himself up on to it with some strange method, some how keeping his leg straight and not breaking his arm more, and rolled to Kirstie's side.
"Hurts..." Is all she could say through her pain.
"I'll call a nurse." I said, and pushed the nurse button.
"Where does it hurt?" Avi asked, concern flooding his gaze on Kirstie. She pointed to her hip. I heard from the nurse that it was messed up pretty badly.
"Just stay calm and don't move anything that can move your hip." Avi held her hand for comfort. She squeezed his hand and nodded her head in response. A nurse rushed in and gave her sleep medicine. Kirstie fell asleep almost instantly.
"Her hip is basically shattered. It will probably do this regularly. The best thing is to give her pain meds when she is not in the hospital. Once her hip heals a little, this should stop though." She walked out of the room and started talking to the person who I assume is Kirstie's doctor. I looked at the sleeping Kirstie. Then at the concerned Avi. Plans started forming in my head....

Avi POV
My heart was literally beating out of my chest. I thought that Kirstie was having some sort of fatal heart attack or something. Thankfully, it was a false alarm. But for this to happen normally, I don't know what we're gonna do. I rolled over to the bottom of her bed and took the clipboard that held her records of this visit. She was gonna be discharged tomorrow, seeing as there is nothing more they can do and the hospital is basically overflowing. People may have escaped before the storm, but it was still bad all around. We were just the most recognized because we were in the heart of the storm. But it covered all of Florida, so thousands and thousands of people were effected. I rolled back to Kirstie's side. I took her hand in mine. She had such small hands, or I have big hands. Probably both. This shouldn't have happened to her, she doesn't deserve this pain. I leaned back in my chair and closed my eyes. Man, I sure do sleep a lot.

Third person.                                                        PS- Third person is NEVER a good sign.....

The three in the hospital room slept soundly. Kevin on a chair, Avi in his chair, and Kirstie on the bed- Avi still holding Kirstie's hand as they slept. Thunder boomed outside, the winds picking up. No, this is not another apocalyptic storm. This is just your ordinary thunderstorm. A dark figure stands outside the hospital doors. The nurse at the front desk is reading her book, and humming a little toon, obviously bored. It is, at this point, 11:34 pm. Everyone is sleeping, but she has to stay vigilant. Anyone could come in with any sort of emergency, and she had to be ready to get some doctors on the scene. The hospital didn't usually do emergency-middle-of-the-night stuff, but with all that's been happening, they have to. The wind is picking up, the rain pounding on the roof, thunder booming after a bright flash of lightning. The doors flew open, cold wind and rain water blowing into the lobby. The nurse sighs, rolls her eyes, and puts down her book. She gets up to close the doors. They always do this during storms. She gets halfway to the door when she stops. She isn't sure, but she thinks that she sees a dark figure outside of the doors. The wind is blowing the rain so hard that she can hardly see out there. It takes a step closer. Definitely a man, looking at his tall stature.
"Do you need help?!" The nurse yelled through the wind. No reply. "Sir, can I help you?!" The man stepped closer. He was now in the doorway. He had a rugged appearance, and had a large, brown coat on, almost black as it is soaked with water.
"Yes," he replies in a low, grizzly voice," you can. But you don't really have a choice now, do you?" He sneered the most evil smile you will ever see in your life. An ear-shattering scream was heard throughout the hospital. Avi woke up.

Muhahahahahahahha

Pretty good cliffhanger, am I right?
