Unveiled

Samuel's brows arched. He started reading Beth's study yesterday and he can't find a specific goal for it. It surprised him greatly he had known Beth to be goal oriented. He will ask her about it tomorrow. Samuel looked at the clock it reads midnight. He stood from his study and went to Sky and Jet's room. He is glad that the two boys are in deep slumber. Samuel flipped one page of Jet's notebook and he's glad that  his son has done his homework.

Beth seat still at the convent's gate. She saw an abandoned hut across it and it provides her the hiding. With telescope constantly on her hands. Roy has an important matter to attend to so she is alone most of the time. She directed the telescope towards the convent she saw the nuns are spreading the fish on the mat at a low canope. They are making  dried fish. There is no sign of Liza. Soon she saw Sis. Myrna she is holding a huge metal basin. She look around once more but Liza is nowhere. Frustrated she put down the telescope. She carefully placed it on it's own bag. When a van came. She stood still. Then once more she held the telescope. As the van enters the convent premises. The four people who came looks nurses they wore white clothes and shoes. They had a short chat with Sis. Myrna before they came in. Her curiosity was further unearthed. Why did they came?.
Lindsey felt her neck have become stiff as the nurses put  ice on her face. Doctor Ed Santiago said that it will be favorable for her skin before they start on the treatment. The latter is the country's foremost Dermatologist.
The instruction for the the nurses had been strict. Their personal phone had been kept by a security escort while her treatment is going on and had been sworn to outmost secrecy.
Sam cannot keep his gaze towards his report which needs to be presented to their bosses this coming Tuesday. He can't help but think of Liza how he missed her it's been days since the last time they met. He passed by the convent but Sis. Myrna said Liza is having a personal recollection. So he didn't insist on seeing her.
The following day. Dr. Ed came very early. Before the sunrise, helicopter they came. The physician bring with him three aid nurses. The nuns came to meet them after prayer time at four in the morning. They arranged a few things and in less than an hour the treatment strated. At first the pain was unbearable for Lindsey but after a short while it became comfortable for her.
" I'll see you in few days " Dr. Ed said after the procedure.
" Thank you Doc " She replied with a quivering voice. Her face has been wrapped in sterile gauze.

Beth can't sleep she woke up very early. " What's the matter with you ?" Her mother asked as the elder lady looks at the clock that reads four int the morning. She is used to being awake until the wee hours and rise at lunch so it surprised her Mom. " I just can't sleep " She replied. " I told you, those sticks won't do you any good " Her mom utters referring to her vice. She just shook her head.

" Your daughter's skin will be better. In a few days the result will be visible. " Thank you Doc " Lorenzo Tan utters. " She is doing fine, nothing to worry about " Dr. Ed said. Before he sipped his wine. Then he looked around. There is only him and Lindsey's father. In the pent floor of this cozy Thai restaurant. To someone as wealthy and influential as Lorenzo Tan making a place exclusive won't hurt a dime.
Lindsey looked at her luggage bag neatly piled infront her. She is due to leave in a week time. She will return to the big city her real world. She will face the Senate. Come terms with Rain and fullfil every detail of her numerous contracts. And she will leave Samuel and his boys. She pray each moment to ask for strength in telling  Samuel the truth.

Beth didn't feel like going to work today. Thought she rise from bed early and cooked her son his meals. Christian is under a tough conditioning for an upcoming competition. He's nutrition is closely supervised by a dietician. She thinks of a valid excuse for not coming to work. Before she decides to give her colleague a call. The truth is she really wants to stay close to the nuns. In no time.
She is back at Biyaya and she positioned herself across the convent. She brought coffee and pack of cigarettes for breakfast. It is still early in the morning and the sky is dim despite a thin ray of sun. Through her telescope she saw some nuns are tending the goats on a nearby hill. While some are gathering the free range chickens. She also saw a tall and lean figure whom she recognized as Liza through her shirt. As she picks tomatoes. But to her surprise her face is covered with a white cloth. She saw Sis. Myrna came near her. Then Liza entered the convent. An hour passed and the nuns returned inside. Beth felt her stomach churns. She poured herself a cup of coffee and then she lit a stick. She breathed deeply. Then lit another as her coffee is half full. Soon she saw the helicopter coming. It landed on the nearby slope which belonged to the convent. She directed her telescope towards it. She saw the dignified man once again. The same man she saw few days ago. He carries a large bag. " Who is he? " She asked herself. Soon two ladies followed him they wore multicolored scrubsuits and their hair is tied in a bun. " Doctor? " She got amazed. " Who badly needs a doctor? " Beth thought. The doctor went inside the Convent with the two ladies. After a short while she saw Liza walked with them. One of the nurses. Carries a dining chair. Full of gentleness the doctor. Removed the white cloth from her face. Beth steadied her hold. This is the moment she's been waiting  for. It took several minutes before the cloth was removed. To Beth's surprise. She is not Liza. It's The Superstar Lindsey Tan her son's dream girl. For a moment she is dumbfounded. " Could it be? That Liza and Lindsey are the same person? " She asked herself  "She is fooling Samuel. And Samuel doesn't deserve a wayward person  like Lindsey Tan. For a dignified man like him he deserves a dignified and uptight woman. Not a free spirit and Bratty girl like Lindsey Tan." She thought to herself.
In a hurry she rummaged her bag in search for her phone. Roy has to know right away.
