The Dawn

" How are you right now? Ms. Lindsey " Jena Ybanez asked in a gentle manner. Lindsey smiled. " I'm fine Jena. Everything is better and bright  " She replied. Jena is the main host of a showbiz talk show program in Lindsey's mother network.
Her interview is live on screen but she didn't wear make up. She told Ana to put just a few dab of lipstick to have colour on her lips. She can see that her freckles and mole below her chin are very visible on Cam but she doesn't care at all.
Even the clothes she wore today for the interview is an old Hilfiger dress which she bought a long time ago. The interview is happening on their homes' manicured  garden.
" Looks like vacation has done you good " Jena " Yes. The trials that passed also made me stronger and a better person" Lindsey. Jena nodded.
" Good for you Lindsey  " Jena said. " I've read a saying that says that the best view comes after a hard climb. What I've been through is a hard climb. I can attest to that saying " Lindsey " forgive me for asking this question but are you saying goodbye to showbiz? " Jena. " Still don't have plans yet. But I will unload some work. Papa and I have agreed that there will only be movies for now. No television commitments. And besides I will join him in his study in Europe. I am interested in filmmaking I might take a short course of it in Paris or Geneva. " Lindsey
" Have we heard you right ? Your Dad will now get involve with your career " Jena is surprise. " Yes Jena it's right. Papa and I have mend our rift and It's high time to listen to  his opinions. I've been hard headed all my life " Lindsey " that's a nice thing to hear. Will you be still under Ms. Rain's management? " Jena Inquired. " I am thinking it over " Lindsey.
" Tell me about Aries, if its alright with you now " Jena.
Lindsey took a deep breath. " Aries is everything to me. For a long time I think of him as my soulmate. The other half of my heart and being. We've known each other since I was seven while he was nine. He was my solace when my parents had their marital problems. When he passed away I did not just loose a boyfriend I lost a Best friend and anchor....
He always cheer me up when I'm low. Our memories together are countless. So when he died I was lost." Lindsey 
"  I hope you won't be upset  but for a few years now the speculation that you had an abortion still won't go away " Jena.
" I went to New York two summers ago for a vacation. Then as I was shopping there was an intense pain on the pelvic area so I was rushed to the hospital. After an abdominal and Pelvic ultrasound. It was found out that my uterine polyp is about to rupture physicians told I must undergo an emergency D and C. I  still have my ultrasound report before the operation which proves that I was not pregnant when I had the procedure." Lindsey explains.
" How would you describe your late Boyfriend? " Jena " Aries is a passionate person, with so much zeal for life. He is an affectionate son and brother. He loves dearly with all his heart. The case might've tarnished his image but for us who is close to him. He is a very wonderful person. " Lindsey
" Are you now ready to face the  Senate inquiries? " Jena " I am making myself ready for it " Lindsey
" Granting the money is proven clean, what do you plan to do? " Jena " I will put it where Aries had originally planned to spend it. His mom and I will have to talk." Lindsey replied.
" Tell us about your sojourn at a remote paradise " Jena " It is a rewarding experience. For the first in a long time I became an ordinary citizen and I experienced living with outmost simplicity. I earned few but valuable friends and I felt that my soul has been renewed " Lindsey. " The ordinary guy who had made your sojourn meaningful had been the talk of the Town lately. What can you say about it? " Jena. She became silent for a short while.
" My apologies for him. He is a respectable man. He lives a simple and contented life and  he has no idea who am I. But now because of me his tranquil life is being disturbed. It is very unfair for him and his sons. I want to appeal to the press to distant from him. He is a private individual. " Lindsey almost cried. " What word best describes Mr. Ordinary guy " Jena   " Remarkable " Lindsey " Any message for him " Jena said then smiled. " I am very great full to have known you" Lindsey.

Samuel looked at the pile of papers in front of his desk. They were from his office early this morning and they are due tomorrow morning. For a month now since media personnel started coming to his office  pestering him for a quick interview. He filed for a leave but his bosses won't allow him. Instead they come with an idea of allowing him to work from home for a certain period. He only comes to the office during mid and end week for meetings and report submissions. The media attention have done him a big favor thought.
