" You have just won an acting award in the country and now a Major Japanese film maker gives you the lead role for a film that will be an entry for Cannes. The Magnate Magazine Asia hails you as a rising star in asia like Aishwarya Rai of India and Rain of Korea.What can you say about it "  Karen A female showbiz correspondent journalist ask her.
As Lindsey is in between shooting break of her daily soap.
" I feel so honored. For a a very rare opportunity and I feel so blessed as well" Lindsey " Would that that mean you have already said yes to that offer? " Karen asked her again " Not yet Karen. But A negotiation between their management and the network is currently taking place. Yeah know we have to consider certain things "Lindsey " What are those ma'am?" Karen "The script is in Japanese. I have to learn how to speak it first, next is the role which I will portray is a Thai National which makes it even harder. Unlike in Vietnam when I did the movie there. The script was in English. And lastly they plan to make it an entry for Cannes so you have to give it the best performance " Lindsey  " Woah that's kinda really need hard
Work, but we know you can do it " Karen remarks " Thank you " Lindsey smiled " Thank you for your time ma'am " Karen said before pausing for a commercial break.
When she went home later that day. Lindsey saw her fans picketed on the Networks gate. They bought with them cardboards bearing her name. "Kuya kindly lower the window. I'll just say Hi to them " She instructed Joey. Her driver nodded. As the window lowered Lindsey smiled and waived towards them and she saw how delighted they were.

" Jena can you come early tomorrow? We'll go shopping for for my wardrobe " She told Jena while they are on their way. " Yes Ma'am " Jena replied. " And Ana. We have to an over time to do next week " She turned to her make up artist " What for Maam?" Ana asked "Its  my photo shoot for Joan's creations. I want to give it my best " Lindsey. Her childhood best friend Joan who had been an apprentice designer for a long time, is about to launch her own line and she volunteered to endorse it for free. Joan will have to pay only for Joey and Ana's daily salary and some gasoline of her most economical car which is Expedition.
The following day Rain came early at her penthouse. Her manager came with an American foreign language teacher by the name Matthew who specializes in Asian languages and culture. For the next couple of months Matthew will teach her how to speak Japanese. A nutritionist together with her fitness instructor Greg also came in later that day to consult her meals. Her team is exerting every effort to make her very appealing for the lead role of the Japanese film. The buzz of people in her space can make her irritated. She had long wanted to talk to Aries since this morning but she can't. All the time she had is already consumed for her crafts sake. And besides they're keeping their relationship as private as possible as not to mess things up.
Rain arranged a date for her with a  young executive of a multi national company and she gave in to her manager's ordeal. The  public has to believe she is unattached.
Their date was set next week. She'll go home to her Papa's house one of this days. She misses her brothers and she misses her room.

" Ate! " Lean and Leonard ran to Lindsey as they saw her step out  of her car. She came without a driver or neither Jena nor Ana. A thing she rarely does. " How are you? " She asked her brothers then kiss each of them on the head. Today are her brothers' home study day so both are at home. " Were fine. The tree house you built for us gives so much comfort " Lean said. She promised to give them tree house as an award for their high grades. " Oh great! " Lindsey " Will you stay for the night Ate? " Leonard asked " Well see dear. I'm busy " She explained. " We've got many stories to tell you " Leonard informed her. " Really boys?" Lindsey. " Yes Ate. Well stay at the tree house you built for us " Lean " Very good idea "Lindsey said with a wide smile revealing her perfect white even teeth. For years she wore braces just to have them perfect. " I'll tell Mama to cook for dinner since we are complete " Lean said with excitement. Her stepmother is not home at this time. But she knew her Tita Rita would come at the soonest time possible. She had known her to be quick at all times.
Lindsey looked around their lush and spacious lawn. The grass were newly trimmed and the orchids are in full bloom. The tree house is located at the back of their grandiose home near the garage. She have them built on the old mango tree which is their Papa's favorite spot.
Their house is a reflection of their father's meticulous nature.
While her mama was carefree and fun loving.
The cars glistened all ten of them in the daylight as Lindsey pass through the garage towards the tree house. She could just imagine how her Papa would check on each unit every morning before he goes to work. She must've inherited her interest in automobiles from him.
Lindsey was in awe when she saw how beautiful the tree house was. She is very busy the whole time it was built so she haven't check on it. Though she was the one who chose the design but it still surprise her how beautiful it turned out now  that it is already made.
It was made of mahogany logs with rock tiles on its flooring and stairs. While the walls were painted mahogany too. It has solid wood  for cupboards and shelves which was painted of maroon. While lamps are scattered in every corner. It has a single sized bed and a couch, beside the tree house they put a  ten foot screened shelter that is anchored on the mangoes trunk. It is a home  for twelve pairs of African lovebirds. They chirped as Lindsey came in as if They welcome her. Their sound are like music to the ears.
No wonder her brothers are so delighted by it. She must commend Alex right away. Alex is the architect that she commissioned for this. Kuya Poncing Their gardener perhaps the longest among their household staff, bowed when he saw her. She smiled too. She waived at him.Kuya Poncing came near her. " Have a snack later " She whispered to him then she placed five hundred bucks in his worn Jean's pocket. " Thank you ma'am " He said. " Welcome " Lindsey. When she met the four other household staff she did the same too.

"  I miss you a lot girl " Joan hugged her. She came at their photo shoot location with Jena and Ana and. The photo location  Is a garden of a an elderly home run by nuns. At first glance Lindsey felt captivated by it.  It reminds her of the movie  The Secret Garden. No wonder her best friend has  chosen it. They were walking towards the main building when a middle age Nun meet them at the Rose path. " Good morning Ms. Lindsey " The nun said with a wide smile. Lindsey smiled too. " Welcome to Eden Retirement home and orphanage " Sister Louise. Lindsey nodded. " You mean you mean this houses orphans too? " She inquires. " Yes maam. We give home to the less privileged elderly too, at the present we have fifty beneficiary resident " The nun said. "Alright, Do they live on the same building? " She asked " No but each day they have an activity together. Our elderly does some weaving for eight hours a week to help add funds. Ms. Joan here used our fabric for two of her creations " Sister Louise said then smiled at Joan. " I see " Lindsey agreed.
The shoot went well. They were done before three that day. She and Joan were having their snack which consist of a chicken sandwich and home made lemonade it was all courtesy the nuns.
She was about to take another bite when she noticed her Papa. He was with an elderly nun. They were conversing eagerly as she can see from a distant. It seems it is about a serious matter. She didn't know her father donates to orphanage or elderly homes. Her Papa is fond of giving scholarships but not to orphanage.
Few moments passed and a silver C-RV came. It's not her father's car. It is a rent car. Why would her father rent a car if he has to go here.
"Hey what's wrong? " Joan asked. She noticed her friends sudden silence. " Is this your first time here? " Lindsey " No I've been here more than twice because of the fabric. Why do you ask? " Joan " Papa is here " Lindsey " Really? He must be visiting a friend or perhaps he is a benefactor " Joan " I didn't know my father to give help to institutions like this " Lindsey
" you just didn't know girl. Your father is a charitable man " Joan " I know. But what bothers me is that he rented a car for this. Why does he have to do it? What is about his visit that he used a rent car " Lindsey insist. " You must be tired so you are over thinking " Joan uttered.
