8. JFF

Y/n's p.o.v.:

It was all I could think about at the moment; 

Group 5: Evan, Jayden, Y/n, Jared

It felt like I had received a punch in the face. It seemed as if I was destined to have to go through the exact thing I didn't want. The universe knew very well that Jared hurt me when I was younger and we were little kids.

Imagine what he could do if he knew who I was, he's grown so much and he could definitely leave a scar on me, bigger than last time. However, one thing remained in him throughout all these years. He never lost his baby fat. He wasn't tall and skinny but he wasn't chubby either. He had a little bit of extra fat.

I guess it was from eating all those bath bombs when we were younger I thought smiling at the memory. I still remember him thinking that the bath bomb was some sort of candy and he ate it. I quickly threw away that thought as soon as it came in.

I shouldn't be thinking about what we had in the past. It was already marked that he was a terrible person. Still, after all these years it would be dumb to say that I still have a small lingering crush on him. How could I not?

It was the perfect best friend love story, except that he had to ruin it.

"Y/N!" I heard Jayden scream through the hallway as she ran towards me. "Want to come over to my house and begin the group project?" She asked grinning like a total idiot. If I only had her personality I wonder how I would see the world, she must have the perfect life that I would only dream to have.

"Are we starting it today?" I asked her surprised, I would've thought that high school kids loved to procrastinate, I did when I was home schooled.

"Well everyone's free today, and I'd rather finish it soon instead of having to quickly finish it at the end." She continued. "Sure thing, what time?" I asked her, clearly seeing there was no room for me saying no. "Well we were thinking right after school." Jayden said looking right behind me.

"Okay then let's go." I said and soon I began to follow her outside. "They should be coming out soon apparently they have some sort of exam that they are finishing up." Jayden said scrolling through her phone and typing something in.

"Oh, now that we're alone, what'd you think about the club?" She asked her smiling widening. "It was  amazing, and you're in charge of all of that?" I asked her surprised that she could do something as great as that.

"Yeah, originally the school didn't like the idea, but my dad fought against them telling them that it was a place that people would feel like they belonged." Jayden added in and I noticed her smile got wider when she mentioned her father. Her father must be someone amazing, I thought.

"You're dad really cares a lot about you." I said not really knowing what else to say. "Yeah he does, don't even get me started on how much he cares about teenagers like us." She said shaking her head and covering her face with her hands, she was clearly embarrassed.

"What did he do?" I asked her finally growing more and more curious.

At that point Jayden laughed, "The real question is what he does. He's basically an idol to so many musical obsessed kids and everyday all I see is him doing stupid things. I cringed once when he dabbed and said he was lit." She confessed her blush increasing by the second.

"So he's like a celebrity?" I asked her to which she nodded. "Oh hey they're here." Jayden said standing up from the bench that we where sitting in and saw the two boys walking towards us.

"Hey Evan." I waved and smiled at him, I was at least glad that I had Jayden and Evan in my group. "Onwards to my house, you know we're lucky that we're all basically friends. I heard Martha D. was stuck with the three heathers the poor girl." Jayden told us.

"Correction, Evan isn't my friend we're Just Family Friends." Jared said, I didn't even turn around to glare at him. It wouldn't do anything. I knew those words weren't directed towards me but I felt like they were.

"You're friends with Y/n?" I had heard some girl ask Jared once when we were small. "No! She's just a family friend, my mom told me to be friends with her." Jared whispered loudly. I heard everything that he said about me. The only reason he talked to me was because I was annoying and her mother didn't let him stop talking to me.

He hadn't changed, like I said before, it still hurt when I remembered all those things that he said about me or what he did to me but I had to get over it. There was no way he was going to hurt me again.

Evan's p.o.v.:

"Correction, Evan isn't my friend we're Just Family Friends." Jared said. He always said that whenever someone mentioned us as friends. He never really liked the idea of us being friends. I don't even know why I bothered to talk to him. He never treated me like a friend.

I would be a liar though if I said I didn't enjoy his company. I used to be into him when I was smaller, we were both in 5th grade and that's when I realized I liked him. I never knew what it was called and I never saw boys liking other boys. Soon enough I came upon the word gay.

And I realized I was that. I never told anyone because they didn't need to know, I was fine the way I was. My feelings for Jared stopped as soon as I realized I liked guys because my eyes then set on someone else. The monster of our school, Connor Murphy.

Every time I saw him I was always mesmerized by him. He was perfect and one day I hoped that he would notice me and would find me perfect for him as well. 

Y/n's p.o.v.:

The walk to Jayden's house was silent we we're all lost in our own world and I could feel someone staring at me from behind the entire time. Once we came towards Jayden's house she turned around and her smile that she usually had was gone and was filled up with nervousness.

"Okay, so my parents might attack you guys with questions and I'm sorry if they make you feel uncomfortable, especially you two." She said pointing the boys. "Wow you're so embarrassed by your parents!?" Jared laughed at Jayden.

"Shut up, its not like your parents are any better." Jayden said glaring at him. I don't know if I was prepared to meet her parents at all.
