Y/n's p.o.v.:
Today was the day I thought as I made my way downstairs towards the kitchen. It had been a week since the incident and I hadn't gone to school, neither did Jayden, Jared or Evan.
I had by bag with me ready to leave and face the day, except that wasn't where I was headed I purposely woke up 30 minutes earlier to have enough time to talk to my mom about the situation that happened.
Once I got to the bottom of the stairs I quickly went into the kitchen to see my mom with her usual cup of coffee as she started into the wall.
"Mom." No answer.
"Mom?" I asked again.
"Mom." I said once more letting my voice become louder, but she didn't hear me.
"Veronica!" I yelled finally and that was when she suddenly turned around and looked at me as if I had two heads.
"Sweetie sorry." My mother said as she smiled and stood up. "I'll make you breakfast what do you want?" She added in as she walked towards the fridge.
"I'm good mom, I just came to ask you something before I leave." I told her and she looked at me confused, but motioned me to continue.
"Who's JD?" At that question mom froze up her face getting pale. "Mom?" I began to ask before she cut me off.
"He's not important y/n okay? I don't want to speak about him. Do you want [insert favorite food]?" She said as she tried to change the subject.
"Mom. I'm being serious I need to know who he is, even if you don't want me to know." I continued and she glared at me for the first time since ever.
"What did he tell you? What did that bastard tell you?" My mother yelled suddenly becoming angry and frustrated. This wasn't my mother at all.
"He told me I was the reason I took you away from him and I should know why." I replied my voice growing louder and louder.
"Listen to me you don't dare talk to me like that, I raised you better." My mom began.
"I thought you trusted me, well guess I was wrong." I said and marched toward the front door.
"Y/n you get back here right now!" She yelled.
"Why should I? You won't tell me why, you don't even trust me!" I yelled back anger coursing through my veins.
"I told you to come here!" She screamed once again her anger boiling with anger, I didn't even know this person anymore. Who was she?
"And I told you to tell me the truth, after everything I've done to help out. You're being such a dick!" I finally said and ran out of the house to the school.
I could still here my mother yelling as I sat in my first period class next to Jayden and Jared was sitting behind me next to Evan who had changed a lot since we last saw him.
"Evan I love the idea of The Connor Project, I know for a fact that my dad will donate money to your fundraiser, don't even worry." Jayden finally said after the class ended and I tried to remember what we had just learned.
"I've already began to make buttons as well so don't worry, we'll be able to sell them tomorrow." Jared chimed in.
His voice was all I could hear and helped me forget about my problems that I had earlier today.
"Yeah thanks guys, I really appreciate everything you've done for me. For us." Evan whispered more to himself.
"What?" I felt someone tap my shoulder and I quickly looked and replied a little to harshly. "Just wondering if you wanted to go with us to the assembly today. Evan's going to talk and it'll be awesome don't worry Ev you got this!" Jayden said as she finally looked back at me.
"Sure why not, moral support. Yay!" I said a little to weakly and told them I would see them in the next class. I wasn't feeling well and I knew that I would breakdown at any moment.

I'm a little late to this part but ahh I think I'm never going to get out of the musical fandom!!
Also this update is short so yeah, but the next chapter will probably be filled with angst. >:D
NO WAIT!
before you leave I need to address something, I've seen someone ask about Evan and how he's in love with a dead person, Connor. I know I wrote that a few chapters ago in one of the bathroom scenes.
I don't know what to do with that anymore, I wanted to make him become unstable in the story and end up becoming like JD.
But I don't think that fits him so I'd love it if you gave me any advice or ideas. I don't want to leave that information left behind and end up completely forgetting that he loved dead Connor so yeah.
That's really all I have to say, bye!
