Cisco

I vibe the future, but it's bad. It involves us getting trapped in interdimensional space. And us falling into a bubble. And that bubble being to a world which is on fire. Bad. So I decide to go to the Cortex ASAP.

I pop out with John. Caitlin yells, "What's going on?" I don't have time to close the breach before Savage jumps out of it.

Felicity says, "Ohmygodohmygodohmygod."

Vandal says in a sugar-sweet, quiet tone, "You can come with me, or you can die." His faint accent makes him sound even more menacing, if that's possible. Neither choice is appealing. Vandal flickers a light blue flame around his staff.

John, who knows nothing about this man, walks up to him and says, "I'd rather die."

"You've got such a lovely spark in you. Sorry, but I'm not going to quench your spark...yet. I can make your death so much slower back at my lair."

I form a sonic blast and throw it at him. He takes it square to the chest. "Oh...No, Cisco. That's not what you're supposed to do at all." He grabs Caitlin and starts a flame licking at her feet. She squeals and pulls away, but the flame follows her.

"Leverage. Oliver can tell you."

I groan and lower my hands. A breach, the other end of my teleporter, opens behind Vandal. I dare to hope that it might be Barry. But it's Lisa.

Vandal reaches out and grabs her. "And leverage on Snart is never a drawback."

John

We're in a cell. It's a very plain cell.

And it's got Cisco and Lisa in it.

Who have something going on between them.

Because they're flirting.

A lot.

...

This is awkward.

Caitlin

Cisco and Lisa in a cell. Together. Uh-oh.

Felicity

I go and curl in a corner with my hands over my ears. Caitlin sort of leans against the wall, fidgeting.

The hands-over-the-ears doesn't work. I can still hear Cisco and Lisa.

"Hi, Cisco." Lisa has this saucy voice that bothers me.

"Hey." Cisco sounds a little annoyed.

"Oh, come on. You save my life, but you can't talk to me?"

"Alright, fine. Maybe I can."

"I never said thank you, by the way. For saving my life."

"I think you did." There's something in that sentence that I don't get. Something subtle. Maybe some favor or something that Lisa did for him?

John

I cope by imagining what Sherlock would do if he was here. (Besides, make fun of Cisco, Lisa, and love in general. I can even imagine what he would say: "Sentiment is a chemical defect found on the losing side".) Escape, duh. But how? I walk over to the wall and poke at it. This isn't working.

Cisco says, "Wait. Let me go help John find a way out of here."

Lisa comes over to me. She says, "So. Do you have...a girlfriend?"

I think. "Technically, no."

"Ooh. I like available people."

"I don't count as available. I'm already married to my girl."

Caitlin

I wouldn't have expected John to be married. And to a girl, of all people. Not with how comfortable he acts around Sherlock. I would've expected them to be together.

Cisco walks over to John. "What are you trying to do?"

"I'm trying to get out."

"I can help with that." Cisco touches the wall. It disintegrates.
