Eli x (m) Sick!Reader - Stuck

"Seems like we'll have to stay here until that blizzard is over." I heard Eli push the door open and enter the room. "The owner of the inn said it'd be t dangerous for us to leave." She sighed and got two futons from the closet.

"We should take the opportunity and just relax a little more here!" She smiled warmly at me. How could she be so enthusiastic about It? I wasn't happy about it at all...

I don't know why, but since yesterday I've been feeling pretty bad. Maybe I was getting Sick? I didn't know. I decided to wait until something happens. But I could already feel how bad it was going down.

"I'll take a bath. What about you?" Eli asked as she sat down at the kotatsu on the opposite side of me. "I think... I'll go to bed. I'm not feeling well." I simply answered and took a sip of my tea.

Eli looked at me with a really worried look on her face. "Oh no! I don't want you to get sick... Do you have a fever maybe...?" She leant over the table to reach for my forehead. Her soft hand gently touched my forehead. "Oh, that's not too good..."

She gently caressed my forehead, then my cheek with her hand. "Take a good rest okay...? I'll take care of you." She was still hovering over the table, her face was really close to mine. She chuckled into my ear and then left to take a bath. That girl...

The next morning was horrible. I woke up with a terrible headache and I was freezing. I didn't know what time it was, but since there was no sunlight or such glimmering through the curtains, I supposed it was very early.

I felt that my throat was really dry, so I tried to get up to get some water. As soon as I huffed myself up to my feet, I felt really dizzy. I could barely walk and stumbled around in the room, not really noticing anything about my. There was a small light lit up in our room, which made me see only a little.

I tried getting to the door, but I noticed that I only just walked like 5 steps away from my futon. My sight got really blurry and I felt my body being dragged down. I fell down with a loud thud, trying to get up again. I was way too exhausted, I didn't have any strength.

"(Y/n)...?" A sleepy voice said a little behind me. I only managed to get out a few mumbled words that sounded like "water". I just couldn't manage to speak properly.

"Oh god, are you okay?!" As soon as Eli realized the situation, she jumped out of her futon and tried to help me get back into bed. She then rushed out of the room to get some water for me, and also a bowl with water, along with a cloth.

"Seems like you actually got a fever now." She sighed and put the wet cloth onto my forehead. "Don't worry, I'll take good care of you!" She said with a stern voice.

That's why I loved her.

No matter what, she'd always try and help me as best as she could.

"Here, open your mouth!~" Eli cheerfully said as she held a spoonful of soup in front of my mouth. It wasn't that bad to get feeded every now and then.

I finished my soup and fell back onto the couch. Only eating was this exhausting. My head was ringing, and I was shivering. I had about 3 blankets wrapped around me.

Eli sat down next to me and patted onto her lap. "Here, take a good rest now!" She smiled at me. I immediatly felt my face heat up. But I guess she couldn't notice, since the fever already turned me as red as a tomato.

I hesitated at first, but soon put my head down onto her lap. It was comfortable, I couldn't deny that.

Eli gently ran her fingers through my hair. "Does this calm you down a little?" She asked. I couldn't deny the fact that I liked it. Her gentle touch always makes me feel so relaxed. "Mhm." I closed my eyes.

"I hope you'll get well soon.~" Eli now gently caressed my cheek. "I miss kissing you, you know..." She chuckled.

God that chuckle.

That was the medicine I needed.

"And when you feel better, we can finally sleep next to each other again!" She cheerfully said.

She was just too cute.

If there's one thing in the world that I'd never want to give away, then it's her.

She's my angel when I'm sad.

She's my medicine when I'm sick.

She's my drug when I'm going crazy.

She's all I care about.

And that's what I want her to know every single day.

"I love you Eli." I said with a cracking voice. She kissed my cheek. "I love you too~"

As soon as I felt better, Eli was the next one to get sick. Well, that was one kiss too much on that day.

The thought of it still makes me chuckle.
