BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

The loud noise of my phone teared me apart from the beautiful sleep I just had. Well... I only slept for 3 hours but still...

Nevermind. I'll just be like always: Messy, short hair, dark circles, casual clothing that's actually only a loose shirt and some sweatpants, sleepy, bad mood. Perfect. I got used to this pretty fast.

It's no problem for me to look like this at work, no one cares anyways, so why even bother? I'm not the one standing in front of the camera. Oh, haven't I told you? I'm a pretty famous photographer here in Japan. I've already been able to shoot some pics of the most popular celebrities!

Today, we'll have a special shoot again. I already know the group, they've been my clients since their career began. I shot all their covers, promo pics etc.

They're really nice. My mood was a little better when I remembered for what shoot I'd be up this early.

Oh, who am I talking about? It's a pretty famous idol group called Aqours. They're a 9 member group that sings and dances to their own songs.

Kanan Matsuura, she's the one that always tries to get good Events for the shootings. She's not the leader of the group tho, but the actual leader seems quite clumsy when it comes to this.

"Ruby! A bit more to the left!" I shouted as she posed together with the other 1st years of her group. We shot some promotion pictures. Two pictures in different outfits and locations for every year, sub unit and something with attributes. I don't really get what all that stuff means, but I don't really care.

"Like this...? Kyaaa!" As she tried to step a little closer to Yoshiko, she tripped and was about to fall when Hanamaru catched her. "Be more careful, zura." Hanamaru said with a kind voice and tried to continue with the shooting.

After the second year shoot was done, there'd be the third tear shoot. We had a beautiful location, beautiful outfits and of course, beautiful models.

Mari stood at the ocean with her back turned towards the camera. She wore a purple bikini with lots if details and such. You, a member if the group, makes their costumes. She's really good at her job. I had to admit that.

Dia walked beside her in her red bikini and took her hand. The next one walking into the picture was Kanan. And oh god, you can't believe how beautiful that sight was-- uhm...

Kanan also took Maris hand and stood beside her. They all looked at the ocean together, where the setting sun burned.

"That's great!" I shouted. The three of them turned around and smiled at me. "Thanks a lot for your help again!" Kanan smiled at me.

I turned a little red. That usually never happens to me. "Well, anytime!" I smiled back at her. "How about we go for a tea after the shooting?" Kanan asked. "Alone of course." She added with a wink. "S-sure!" I muttered.

She giggled and turned back around to follow the other members for the next shoot.

Today was a good day.

"So? Where shall we go?" Kanan walked around town with me to pick out a café. We had been in Tokyo, since the last shoot was here. The other members already left some time ago.

"Hm... I know that one really nice café! Follow me." I took her by the hand and walked to that café. She must recognize it.

"Wait, aren't we..." Kanan began to speak as soon as the café was in sight. "Isn't that the place where μ's had their MV for Wonder Zone?!" Her eyes sparkled in excitement. "And where Minami Kotori worked as a Maid herself?!" She got a little pumped up about it.

"Haha yeah it is. Want to go in?" I smiled at her. "Well, of course!" This time she took my Hand and dragged me forwards.

"I just wanted to thank you again. We can always count on you and your work! You're the best photographer we could find." Kanan took a sip of her tea. "All of the members are thankful that we've found such a good photographer!" She smiled at me and set her cup down.

"Hey, it's really no big deal." I replied casually, even though it was currently a big deal for my heart that was about to melt.

"What about we exchange numbers?" Kanan handed me her phone with the "create new contact" screen. "Oh... Sure." I took the phone and typed in my number and Name. While I gave her her phone back, I noticed that I've never told her my name before. The studio I'm working for has got another name than mine, and the email addresses also aren't with name's.

As soon as Kanan got her phone back she turned red. "Are you okay?" I asked a little puzzled. "Uh..." She tried to hold back a giggle. "I.. uh..." She bursted out in laughter. "This is a little embarrassing for me now." She seemed to be a little confused. "You see... I never knew you're a female." She kind of mumbled into her cup of tea.

I looked down at myself. Well, can't blame her. The loose shirt makes me look flat as hell, the sweatpants don't show any curves as well. My messy short hair, the dark circles. It doesn't fit so well.

I just laughed with her. I had to admit, the experience was kind of funny.

Kanan and I walked along the ocean as we arrived back in Uchiura. We talked a bit about ourselves, learned more about each other and stuff.

I don't know why, but looking at her made me feel so comfortable and relaxed in that moment.

I mean... someone like me doesn't always have the opportunity to have such a beauty around me.

"Thanks for the nice day." Kanan gave me that gentle, cute smile she'd always give me. "I had lots of fun."

I wanted to say something, but all the words I wanted to say slipped their way back down my throat as I felt her warm lips on my cheek.

"See you!" She winked at me yet again and soon had been gone over the little hill.

I held my cheek and smiled a myself.

"See you too." I whispered.
