I looked at my phone to check the time once again. Hanamaru had already been late for 20 minutes by now. I was waiting in front of the Numazu Movie Theatre, impatiently waiting for her. I walked up and down, kicking around a few rocks. After 30 minutes, I saw her running towards me, being out of breath. "I'm so sorry for being this late!" She heavily panted. "I fell asleep on the ride here and had to walk here from the other end of Numazu!" She whined.

I sighed and went through her hair with my fingers. "You look all messed up, Maru." I remarked and dusted off her shirt. "We didn't miss the movie yet but we better hurry up." I said and took her by the hand. Hanamaru followed me silently.

Let me introduce: Hanamaru Kunikida, my girlfriend. I love her with all my heart. There's nothing or no one I'd trade for her. She might be a little "slow" sometimes, but she's still very kind, smart and adorable. She's also a little clumsy, but I'm always there to help her out.

This was Hanamaru's first time visiting a movie theatre. I told her a lot about it and she got all excited, so we decided to go and watch a movie together. "Do you want Popcorn, Maru?" I asked with a smile. Her face lit up. "Yes!" She cheerfully replied and dragged me to the counter. I ordered a large popcorn along with a large coke and two straws.

We sat down on a loveseat and got comfortable with the popcorn being between us. "Wow, this looks so extravagant, zura!" Hanamaru looked around with sparkling eyes. I chuckled slightly at the sight. She was simply adorable. There weren't many people in the cinema. There were only 7 more people besides from us.

"Is it always this empty?" Hanamaru asked and tilted her head slightly. "It depends on the movie. This one doesn't seem to attract many people's attention." I shrugged and took a bit of the popcorn. "But the story sounded so interesting, zura!" Hanamaru yelled. "A love story between a cancer patient and a nurse..." I mumbled.

The curtains opened and the lights went off. "First, there'll be advertisements and trailers now, right, zura?" She leant towards me and whispered into my ear. "Yep." I simply replied, the ads already getting me all bored. "Wow!" Hanamaru looked at the projection screen with big eyes. "This is amazing... I want that!" She said as she pointed at the screen that currently showed an ad of a smart home assistant.

I pet her head slightly. "Maybe." I chuckled. Hanamaru poured, knowing it gets me every time. "Maru, you don't need that..." I implied, but she just crossed her arms. I kissed her cheek gently. "Let's look for one later, okay?" I sighed. She smiled again. "Okay!"

Then, a certain ad came up. It was an ad for Aqours 3rd single, Happy Party Train. A preview of the song was played along with a preview of the MV. "Maru, look! It's you!" I yelled and got all excited to see her on the huge screen. "That's... that's me!" She cheerfully said as one of her solo parts got played. She smiled to herself. "It's the future, zura!"

"I'm looking forward to your solo~" I hummed as the ad had ended. "It's not that good." Hanamaru said with a slight blush on her face.

Throughout the movie, Hanamru didn't say a word. She was way too concentrated on watching the movie and looked at the screen with big eyes all the time. I've never seen her this focused before.

When we walked out of the movie theatre, she couldn't stop talking about him much she loved the movie. We stopped by a small pond that was in front of the theatre. "Why did he have to die though..." She sniffed, wiping away a tear. I put an arm around her shoulder. I've never been someone that cries during movies, so I couldn't really relate. I didn't know what to say so I just comforted her by pressing her head against my chest.

I pet her head gently and just hugged her tight. It seems kind of weird, since she'd only be crying because of the movie, but I can't stand to see her crying. No matter what the reason is. I closed my eyes and rested my head on top of hers, still holding her tight. "You're so warm." She said as she snuggled against my chest. It was winter, so it was pretty cold outside.

She was shivering slightly. I quickly took off my scarf and wrapped it around her neck. "This should make you feel a bit more nice and warm." I said and gave her a gentle smile. "Want to head to my place?" I asked, since I lived nearby. "Sure!" Hanamaru smiled at me and took my hand.

"Thank you.~" Hanamaru hummed as I handed her a hot chocolate. She took a sip and seemed very pleased. "It's great!" She said. "I'm glad that it's of your liking, dear." I replied and sat down on the sofa as well. I wrapped a blanket around the two of us and put an arm around her shoulder. We stayed like this for a while until she set down her cup and nuzzled against me.

"I love you." She mumbled. I smiled to myself and closed my eyes. "I love you too." I replied and kissed her head gently.

Shortly after, I hear a silent snoring coming from her. It was so calming that I dozed off as well as well, holding her in my arms.
