Mari x (m) Reader - You're such a dork.

"(Y/n)-kuuun!" A high voice rang in my ears loudly. "M-mari-chan! Don't scare me like that, you fool!" I shouted ask with a red face. "Teehee, did I scare someone there?~" she wrapped her arms around my said from behind and teased me by tickling my belly. It's pretty easy to tickle me, so I bursted out in laughter and tried to struggle against her grip.

"S-stop! Mari, watch out!" We fell into a bush. "Oopsieees..." Mari tried to get the leaves out of her hair. she chuckled and smiled at me. "So, what are we going to do todayyy?" She asked, as happy as always. "There's nothing that drags down your mood, is there?" I sighed as I tried to get out of the bush. Mari stuck out her tongue playfully and winked. "Not at aaaalllll!~" She jumped out of the bush and tried to pull me out.

"Ohhh I wanna go there next!" Mari pulled at my sleeve and pointed at a giant rollercoaster with about 5 loopings. Only looking at it made me feel like puking. "Mari, I need a break..." I held my stomach in pain. "But we only drove with 4 rollercoasters yet! One last one!!" Mari didn't even try to let me say something.

"That was grandiosooo!~" Mari spun a little and looked at me. "Uh, are you okay?" She asked. I stood at a wall, leaning my head against it. "Ugh.... were am I?" I felt pretty dizzy. I tried to lean against the wall so I wouldn't collapse, but as I know myself, it didn't work. But the floor was quite comfortable that moment.

"Uh... I'm so sorry, (y/n)..." I heard a voice next to me and a hand holding mine. I opened my eyes and found myself in a hospital bed. "Uh, Mari?" I was quite confused, because I couldn't remember what happened at first. "(Y/n)!!" She hugged me tightly and sobbed into my shirt. "I'm so Sorry! Next time I'll make sure to look after you!" She cried. "Hey, Mari, I'm completely fine." Mari's reaction was quite... weird...

"I only felt a little dizzy and collapsed, no big deal-" "I was worried maybe?!" She shouted. I looked at her with big eyes. I've never seen her this frustrated before. "Thank you, Mari. I'm really thankful that you care about me." I gently smiled at her. "Don't ever scare me like that again, Idiot."

"Looks like your head still hurts... you lightly fell on your head when you collapsed..." Mari placed an ice pack on my head. "Ouch!" I whined in pain as the cold ice kind of froze onto the pain. "I'll take care of you during the weekend!" Mari giggled. "I'll make you some delicíoso snacks and make sure you stay hydrated, since it's been pretty hot lately!"

She walked out of the room while humming happily. I smiled to myself. It was really cute of her. She quickly came back with a plate with melon slices on it. "Here, have something fresh and sweet!" She giggled and took a small one of the pieces with a fork. She cut the melon in one slice and a few... cubes?

She held the fork with the watermelon close to my mouth. "Let me feed you! You're still not feeling good enough to eat it!" I turned red but still gave in. I didn't mind being feeded. After she was done with feeding me, she took the slice and began eating it. "Mhhh! Delicíoso~" she seemed pretty off. Somehow, there's nothing that doesn't amaze her.

I woke up in the middle of the night and wasn't able to sleep again. I decided to get up and maybe look at the stars on the balcony. When I wanted to get up, I noticed that Mari wasn't on the sofa. I went to the balcony and found her looking at the night sky.

"Oh, hey Mari. Can't sleep too?" I asked and stood next to her, resting my arms on the railing. "Nah." She gave me a gentle smile and looked back up. "The stars are way too petty." I said as I looked up. "I love the way every single star shines with all their might."

Mari nodded. "Yup." She answered. Her flashy personality was no where to be seen. "Listen, I'm really happy about how you took care of me the last two days. I'm really thankful for it. I owe you one. Her mood seemed to light up. She smiled at me. "It was all my fault, so this was the least I could do." She replied.

I looked at the floor. "Thanks a lot..." I mumbled. Mari quickly tickled me, causing me to let out a scared scream. Mari giggled. I sighed. "Jeez, I love you, you dork."
