Chapter 4: uh red velvet anyone?

Jade's POV:
I am now currently standing outside of the new neighbours doorstep, trembling in fear and shivering at my own thoughts of whether or not they'd hate me.

'What the fuck is this? It's just a new neighbour Jade. Get your shit together.'

I thought to myself as I walked up to the doorbell and pressed it with shaky fingers.

'Well here goes nothing.'

I plastered on the fakest smile I could master and stood there waiting like an idiot.

'WHO IS IT?' A loud girly screech yelled from the other side of the door.

'If you opened this fucking door instead of yelling from the other side of the world maybe you'll know.'

I sighed and rolled my eyes at that thought.

"It's Jade from next door." I tried to sound as polite as possible. Before I could even blink , the door was pulled open and a pair of gorgeous violet eyes met mine.

'Holy shit, does everyone in this town have beautiful eyes ?'

"Thanks, you could take a picture, it'll last longer." The pastel purple haired girl said with a smirk playing playfully around her lips.

"Oh sorry that was meant to be in my head, if it creeped you out I'm sorry. I'm not lesbian and I -" a loud laughing interrupted me and I looked up at the girl who is now doubling over laughing

"Holy shit you're so adorable, Jade was it?" She asked with a smile

"Yea.." I replied slightly embarrassed after my rumble of words.

"I like you, you're pretty cool, wanna come inside? My parents would love to meet you! " she grinned and jumped up and down like a kid high on sneakers.

"Yea sure." I reflected her smile 

"IM 17 MOM FOR FUCKS SAKE STOP ACTING LIKE YOU'RE MY MOTHER WHEN YOU BARELY COME HOME." A tall boy with beautiful cropped messy jet black hair and the most intense sparkling blue eyes yelled out to a slightly older version of the girl who invited me in.

"DO NOT TALK TO ME LIKE THAT YOUNG MAN." She yelled back with the most scariest glare anyone could shoot at someone.

'Damn if looks could kill I'd be in hell not just 6 feet under.'

I shivered at the thought of what this lady could do besides killing the guy with her eyes.

"OH FUCK OFF." His words were firm and with that he stormed out of the room without noticing I was there the whole time .

"Uh mom? This is Jade, our neighbour..." her voice was quiet and her violet eyes dulled .

"Oh, hello. Welcome to my home, I apologise for what you have seen." She sighed and gave me a tired smile.
I take in her appearance and she was a very beautiful woman, long wavy black hair, blue eyes with a hint of violet , full plump red lips and dimples.

'Holy shit lady you're gorgeous.'

This time I made sure my thoughts were in my head.

"It's alright Mrs...?"

"Oh please, call me Layla." She said with a full spread grin on her gorgeous face.

"Okay Layla , so uh red velvet anyone?"
