A man once said "A star cannot shine without darkness," yet he couldn't have been anymore wrong for Hermione was a bright star that shined without darkness. Hermione was Hermione Jean Granger, a mighty Gryffindor.
A young man with curly blonde hair slowly walked into the classroom, accompanied by another boy with a brilliant aquamarine head of hair. Hermione looked at this boy curiously, however he had yet to notice her gaze. "Professor Eros, what can I do for you?" asked the boy with a particularly strong French accent. They both carried a sense of pride with them, and among that a perfect physical appearance. "Ahh Mr. Lestrange and Mr. Lestrange are to accompany this young lady-," she looked at Hermione.
"My name's Hermione Gerard," she quickly tucked her hands into her coat pockets, in a failed attempt to hide the shakiness of them. After she had heard the last name Lestrange immediately she went into fight or flight mode, and at this time, she chose fight. "You are to accompany Ms. Gerard to the infirmary, where her wounds will be treated," she turned to Hermione "sorry these two trouble makers are the only mentors here so they have to accompany you." Her hand pointed to the boy who possessed oceanic blue eyes and perfectly styled blonde hair, "his name is Emiliano," then she pointed to the young man with brilliant blue hair and piercing green eyes, "his name is Remi, they are both French, so you will have something in common." Both boys looked between both the witches in the room curiously. "Alright, Hermione please follow us." Wearily Hermione left the protection of the teacher and began following the boys.
As they walked to the infirmary Hermione felt a stinging pain within her ankle, it became increasingly difficult to hide from the boys prying eyes and soon she stopped walking all together. "Ms. Gerard please keep up, we are-," Emiliano ceased talking as soon as he saw a crimson liquid drip down from her ankle. His usually curious blue eyes showed hints of concern, "Ms. Gerard what has happened!" Hermione grasped her burning ankle, "An old wound has opened up, it's nothing, don't worry about it, I will take myself to the infirmary!" She continued limping on her way Both the Lestrange twins trailed after her, "wait Ms. Gerard, how do you know the infirmary is this way?" Hermione internally face palmed and then turned back towards the Lestrange twins, "wild guess," she said. Then she continued limping down the corridor. "Please there's no need to accompany me, I will go myself," she exclaimed, annoyed at the brothers pestering personalities. "But-."
"You heard the young lady, please Lestrange twins, when a lady says no, take her advice, or I fear you will end up in deep trouble in future years," a young man emerged from a nearby classroom carrying dozens of books within his arms. His hair was an alluring platinum blonde, paired with intense grey eyes, which looked as if he had seen everything wrong with the world. Slowly he gave a slight bow to both the brothers before approaching Hermione. "Ms. Gerard I assume, it is a pleasure to meet you, might I be Informed of your blood lineage," he inquired.
"Pureblood," she responded quickly.
"I see, I seem to have no recollection of ever encountering a pure blooded family with the name of Gerard, I assume your family is lesser?"
Hermione tightened her fists, "Yes," she said in an annoyed tone. "Well then, my name is Abraxas Malfoy, heir to the Malfoy fortune, and I will keep my word by accompanying you to the infirmary," he smirked "but you already know where it is don't you, quite odd."
Hermione shook her head " it was an assumption, please don't look too much into it."
Abraxas smiled, "I was only joking with you, however, I do find your clothes quite odd, tattered pants and a matching tattered shirt. Very inappropriate for a young lady such as yourself to wear that."
Hermione shook her head, "with all do respect, it's not your place to tell me what I can or cannot wear."
Abraxas smirked and inched closer to her, until he was alarmingly close to her face, "I am a Malfoy, and you're a no name woman, I believe I can say anything I want."
Hermione backed away from him, "although I have no need to explain myself, to someone like you. I come from an area where woman typically wear this, and because my family is from there, we are not well known, please don't take this as us being weak."
Abraxas' face returned to it's serene resting position "I see, let's continue then shall we?" He held his arm out to Hermione, and hesitantly she looped hers through his.
"MS YOU CANNOT WALK AROUND YET! WE HAVE TO FIND YOU SUITABLE CLOTHES." Hermione looked around the infirmary and sighed. "Please Mrs I need to find someone, it is very important," she said, obviously ignoring her injuries. The nurse placed new clothes onto Hermiones bed in the infirmary are shook her head. "No, orders from Mr. Malfoy is for you to stay here!"
Hermione nodded and slowly got up to change into more time appropriate clothes. As she picked up the clothes Hogwarts had provided she noticed that none of them contained anything relating to the school itself. Disregarding this she quickly put on a grey dress and a golden cardigan, she slowly slipped her feet into a pair of small red heels, trying her best to disregard the pain in her ankle. "Alright I'll be going now Nurse Prim," the other nurse remarked. Hermione looked around and noticed that her side of the corridor was completely left unattended. "Bingo!" She exclaimed and quickly made her way to the exit.
Hermione had wondered the hallways for hours now, trying to find Dumbledores office. As she passed students she got weird looks. "Who does she think she is, prancing around our hallways looking like that, her hair looks like a birds nest!" a girl with perfectly styled brown hair said to a group of fellow Slytherins. Hermione gripped her dress and continued walking. "Hey birds nest girl, what are you doing at our school!" one of them yelled out. Hermione paused and turned around, immediately flashes of her past began appearing. She saw Draco and all his friends, the people in front of her, they were similar to them. So all she could do was smile, "thanks," she said, with no hints of sarcasm in her voice. The group of Slytherins backed up, "who are you!" Hermione rolled her eyes and walked away, "How pitiful that you must pick on girls simply because you are insecure about yourself, alas I don't remember caring!"
"MS IN MY OFFICE NOW!" Hermione turned around quickly to the angered voice that was addressing her.
Then it caught her eye, the person standing at the door to the classroom was none other than Albus Dumbledore. Hermione smiled and quickly walked to him, "I missed you!"
The shocked Professor furrowed his eyebrows and sat in his seat, "Have we met before?"
Hermione nodded, "It's quite a long story."
Dumbledore shook his head, "I have the time."
"My bame is Hermione Granger and I was raised as a muggle for most of my life, after all I am a muggle-born witch. On my birthday I received a letter that had invited me to join Hogwarts, I immediately join the school and soon found my best friends, Harry and Ron. But they are in trouble now," she gripped her dress and bit her lip. "I was born September 19,1979 and you're my headmaster," she said quickly.
Dumbledore furrowed his brows and shook his head "Impossible!"
"Please believe me! I can tell you something from the future!" she pleaded with the young headmaster.
His eyes grew furious, "is this some elaborate ruse to get out of trouble Hermione, because I won't fall for it. You have no wand, no Hogwarts gear, if you truly came from the Hogwarts in the future you would have at least one." Hermione felt her head become dizzy, she could no longer see straight.
The golden orbs that the witch had once possessed turned into a emerald green, warning those around to be cautious. Hermione stood up from her seated position and slowly approached the professor, she reached out to him, and without hesitation Albus grasped her hand. "Incredible," he breathed out, immediately pictures of his life within the years flashed before his eyes, and soon he saw her, and the two boys she was talking about, then he saw his death. Quickly he let go of her hand, "Is this true?"
Hermione nodded and sat down, "I will return to my witch self now, but please remember what I have shown you, I need to protect everyone I care about, including you."
The professor furrowed his brows and smiled, "Alright."
"So you must act as my uncle for now!"Sorry for short chapter I just needed to update something and I'm really sick right now so bare with me here, thanks♥️
