Hermione looked up from the window facing outwards towards the main quad at Hogwarts. Ron and Harry stood in the rain, kicking the water from puddles towards unsuspecting Slytherins. She smiled at their foolishness and shut her book. Quickly she made her way across the room and draped her gold and red scarf over her shoulders.

"Ronald Weasley, what do you think you're doing!"

Ron turned to the angry witch and made a funny face, "It's called fun Mione, you should try it sometime!" Her eyes seemed to fill with a fire, Harry took note of this and gripped his best mates shoulder. "Calm down Ron!" Hermione flared her nostrils and crossed her arms over her chest. "I can be fun!" Ron and Harry both immediately burst out laughing, they looked at each other, on the verge of tears. "That's it!" she exclaimed angrily.

Professor Snape entered the courtyard and looked at them with his usual piercing eyes. "I'll prove to you I can be fun!" Hermione carefully levitated a puddle above Professor Snapes unsuspecting head. She stuck her tongue out at the two boys and attempted to bring it down. "PROFESSOR SNAPE, LOOK ABOVE YOU!" Draco rounded the corner, followed by his usual Slytherin gang. Hermione immediately cussed the ferret and dropped the puddle. Instantly, water came crashing down all over Snape. Hermione clamped her hand over her mouth to prevent from laughs escaping, however, it was already too late for Harry and Ron, who were laughing uncontrollably.

She held her hands up in defeat and let a sigh escape her. Ron and Harry patted her on the back as the now angered Snape crossed the courtyard.

Hermione looked at the photo of Ron and Harry in her pocket and she crossed the Gryffindor Common room. "You two dimwits got me in trouble again!"

Harry shook his head, "No, that was all, you Mione." Ron nodded in agreement, Hermione gritted her teeth and shoved the photo back into her pocket. Harry laughed, "why do you always carry that photo of us anyways?"

"Because I want to know the people I hate the most!"

"Oh bull! I know you love us."

Hermione smiled at her two best friends, "because if I ever lose you, I can show people what you look like!"

Ron laughed, "what are we? Dogs!"

Hermione smiled "Have you seen the way you eat? You look like a pack of dogs!"  The memories of the three seemed to disappear from Hermione's mind as she continued walking around the old Hogwarts. Would she ever get to see them again? Why would they leave her? Harrys warm smile and Rons laugh flashed in her mind. Her first year at Hogwarts also showed up in her mind. "It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends!" Albus said while facing all the students who she had come to know and love. "Dumbledore." The name of the man who changed her life for the better. She would never forget her friends, no matter how long she was without them.

This chapter was dedicated to those whom I recently lost. New chapter coming in two days. Sorry for the late update, I've been in a bad headspace recently.
