"Do you love him?" Greg asked. John's face flushed up. "We already know somewhat about the 'Intimate situations.' There's really no need to hide anything." He said, chuckling nervously. John sighed in defeat and nodded. "Well, I have to level with you, Greg," John leaned in to say it lowly, "I have a soulmate," Greg grimaced. "Well, do you know who it is?" He asked. "I think I have an idea," John wavered as he pulled up the sleeve of his hoodie to reveal the neatest script, Black marker, that could only be recognized as, "Sherlock's-...!" Greg started, when John hushed him loudly with a laugh. "I don't know how to tell him." John said, "I mean, every time we get one step closer to him knowing, Jim yanks him twenty steps back. And, then there's Mary..." John groaned. "She just doesn't know how to stop, she doesn't understand that I have a soulmate. I've told her, but she doesn't get it." John said, slightly angered by the topic of his clingy and delusional ex-girlfriend. Greg laughed. "I get that, mate." He said, patting John on the back. "We all want Sherlock to be happy, right?" Greg said. "Definitely!" John bounced in excitement. "Okay, then I've got a plan."

John arrived home, kind of glumly. He knew from Greg's plan, he couldn't initiate conversation or interaction with Sherlock until the talent show, then he should go and observe, make Sherlock aware that he was a better boyfriend than Jim could ever be. Ultimately, it was so they could be together, so John certainly didn't want to complain. "John?" David asked as he looked up from his guitar and music stand when John moped his way to the sitting room and leaned his head against David's shoulder. "I'm very sad, David." John said. Just admitting it almost made him cry. "Whoa, what's going on, buddy?" David asked, sitting John down on the couch. "I feel like I'm not good enough for my soulmate." John said, picking pointlessly at the tears on the couch. "I'm sure they love you!" David exclaimed, smiling excitedly. "Yeah, but I knew for four years and cheated on them and accidentally made them feel like shit, and he still doesn't know, so now he's dating Jim, but I want him so damn bad, you have no idea, David!" John rose his voice to drown out the tears, but ended up breaking down. He leaned forward into John's chest. "You know. When I first met you mad Sherlock, I had no idea that I'd end up trying to help you bring you guys together." Davis started, "so, I won't. You need to tell him what's going on, John." David focused on playing his guitar again. "No, but there's a plan." John whined. "I'm listening," David said, still looking at his guitar. "I'm not going to tell him until the talent show, where Sherlock said he'd be on stage." John said. "When's that?" Davis asked, looking up finally. "In two and a half weeks..." John groaned. "Wait. That Thursday?" David asked. John nodded. "You're not going." He said blankly, "your mum's down from Dublin to visit." This information made John freeze up and tense. "Does Harry know?" He asked quietly, leaning in. "Well, I would hope so; he requested her." David laughed. "But can't she stay more than just Thursday?" John asked. "Go ask 'Nissa," He said, going back to his guitar, obviously not up for debate from a teenage boy who has soulmate issues.

John called Greg, who answered almost instantly. "Hello?" John asked. "Oh, hey, man. What's up?" "Nothing much. I just wanted to know if Sherlock could come over my place the night of the thing, since Aunt 'Nissa won't let me spend the night out," John asked. "Why not?" Greg asked. "Well, my mum's coming down from Dublin to see us, and I want her to meet him," John said. And, of course Greg said yes. John hung up, and he's never been so excited for one day ever!

The next day at school was difficult. "Hey, John!" Mary shouted at the same time that Sherlock had. Unfortunately, due to the plan, John was only allowed wave to Sherlock while Mary swooped in under his arm and showed him off, like he belonged to her. While I'm the hallway, John said, "Mary, we're not dating," and that's when the pair of them took a sharp right, into the supply closet. "John, I want you. In like, every way possible." She said. "Yeah, but I don't want you." John groaned at the fact that he actually had to repeat it. "Then, use me!" She shouted. "I don't wan to!!" He shouted back. "John, please." She whined, pressing her body against his, Which was then against the wall. The way she was right there, reminded John of when Sherlock and he were snogging on his bed, and their bodies were right there. But, his fantasies were cut off when he heard Mary snigger as she pulled him down for a kiss. "I knew you still wanted me," she said into he kiss. "Mary," John tried, "I don't-!" John's breath hitched as Mary cupped his trousers. The door swung open at that moment. John looked over to the sudden hallway lights and saw Jim, smirking as Sherlock was juxtaposed, looking like a broken man. He quickly exited the scene. "Dammit, Mary! I don't love you!" John finally got Mary off of him. She walked to Jim, who paid her ten pounds. "I really am sorry, John." She said, taking her leave as well. John had had enough. He yanked Jim into the closet and punched him down the the ground, where he straddled the boy. "You think it's funny!? Breaking his heart! You idiot! He doesn't love you! He never has!" John shouted, grabbing Jim's neck and holding him down. Jim's hands reaches up to choke John out. Jim rolled them around, so he was attacking John. Johns hands were pulling Jim's hair and punching at his face. Jim's forehead began to bleed and they were both exerting the last of their energy as John clotheslined the inside of Jim's elbows, causing them to give out, John quickly sat up to smash his forehead to Jim's face. Jim's nose started to bleed and Jim's teeth snagged against John's eyebrow, cutting that. John quickly wiped his brow from the blood and continued to attack at Jim. John knocked Jim on his back and began punching him again, John was filled with rage and unexpressed anger of so many years, that this actually felt good. "Sherl, help!" Jim pleaded, reaching up where at the doorway, there were a tall boy with dark, curly hair, wearing an expression of shock, yet sadness was mixed. "Sherlock, thank god you're here." John laughed. He pinned Jim down again. "Tell him what you did! What you've been doing!" John shouted. A lot of students were gathering around the doorway of the closet and gasped. "Wow..." "Watson kicked Moriarty's ass!" They all murmured. "Say it! Admit to your boyfriend what you've been doing to his heart!" John shouted again, pressing harder on his arm against the base of Jim's neck. "Come on, Jim! If I put more pressure on my arm it'll wring your neck out, pushing you Adam's apple back into your trachea, suffocating you." John warned. A lot of the people were getting uneasy. "I paid Mary to make advances on John in front of you," Jim groaned, sighing as he let himself relax in defeat. John stood up and kicked Jim once more, then walked out of the closet to go to the nurse.

John got suspended for a week, which he spent at home, doing chores for 'Nissa, putting Harry's T in for him, and doing the outside chores for David. John didn't complain. He was essentially working out. After all of that was down, John would run laps around the house four times and do press ups and stretch and sit ups and he'd just exercise. After his shower, John would read for an hour, go to eat supper, do the things for before and after, then he'd be allowed to call Sherlock for only ten minutes, which once John explained, Sherlock set up an alarm, so he'd know how much time they'd have. They'd keep the conversation simple, but on the last day of he suspension, since he's been doing everything without any rebuttal and has helped Harry buy more T and helped him with things that he really didn't have to do, Nelissa let him and Sherlock on he landlines for a half an hour. John was ecstatic to have a thirty minute conversation with Sherlock. Most of it was Sherlock telling John about funny things at school. "A lot of people are gossiping at school." Sherlock sighed. "Ooh! I love a good sister complex." John said half-sarcastically. "They say that Jim was sleeping with some kid from our old school, Sebastian Moran." He said. "Oh, well, what are going to do?" John asked.
