Jason didn't want to admit it, but he was utterly glad he had no quests. He was worn out from fighting, so he was asked with Frank to keep care of the ship and if anyone is missing go on a 'quest' to find them.

"So, we're just useless?" Frank asked Leo as they were loading up the ship.

"If you were," Leo admitted, "I wouldn't ask you to come."

Jason woke up to a bang on his door.

"Wake up, Lightning McQueen!"

Jason rubbed his eyes and saw it was still night.

"What..." He shouted as loud as his voice could manage.

"Help me with this monster!" The voice responded. Was that... Calypso?

It couldn't be. She wasn't one to fight. Also, why would she be up at this time?

He checked his alarm clock. It was 2:46am.

"Jason! I don't care if you're decent or not! I will come in if you don't get your ass up rift now!"

"Okay I'm coming, I'm-"

Apparently he wasn't fast enough as she stormed into his room and went straight for his closet. He was shirtless, but still felt like he needed to cover up. Grumbling, Calypso grabbed a dressing gown and threw it to Jason.

"Come on, get up!" She shouted and sprinted back to the edge of the ship. Jason put on the dressing gown and sprinted out to find Calypso face to face with a cyclops.

"I am the son of the sea! What can you do, pretty girl-"

Jason prepared a storm but in shock, he watched Calypso punch the cyclops in his eye. He wept in pain and dropped to the sea. They waited for a while but he didn't return.

"Oh," Calypso said, shaking her fist, "guess I didn't need you. Sorry for waking you up."

Only them did he realise his mouth was wide open.

"Holy Hades, you're strong."

"I think people forget that I'm the daughter of Atlas." She shrugged, walking towards Jason.

"People only talk about you with the fact that you were trapped."

"I know, unfortunately." She sat, defeated.

"That's what they do with pretty girls," he admitted, sitting down next to her, "I can mention so many girls much stronger than me but are overlooked."

"Like who?"

"There's this girl, Reyna," he said wistfully, missing her, "who was our camp leader. The people at camp feared her because she was so damn strong. One time, me and her were surrounded by monsters, who were telling her to put down her sword and make her a sandwich."

"Wow. What did she do?"

"She told me to sit down and killed everyone one of them, well, except the ones that ran away."

Calypso laughed. "Served them right."

"Yeah."

They both stayed where they were, looking at the night sky.

"I'd love to meet her. Is she at camp?"

"Not our camp, Camp Jupiter, where I'm from. On the way back, Leo's going to drop me, Hazel and Frank back there. I'll ask if you can come off with us and meet her."

"What about Piper? And Leo?" She frowned.

Jason sighed. He wanted to connect again with Reyna. But he loved Piper and Leo. Piper was his girlfriend and Leo his best friend. He loved those two more than anyone in Camp Jupiter. But, home is home, and responsibility is responsibility.

"I will keep contact with them as much as I can," he responded after a while, "but I have a job to do in Camp Jupiter."

Calypso nodded and looked back to the sky.

"Well, again, sorry for waking you up." She shrugged. "You can go back to sleep."

"What about you?"

"I stayed up to keep care of the ship after I saw Percy snoring up in the forsail."

"Shocker." Jason laughed. "It's fine. I'll stay up with you."

So, until the sun rose, Jason and Calypso protected the Argo II, spoke and took turns on watch whilst the other slept. The became close friends almost instantly.

"Not my pillow panda!" Percy screamed, waking up to a laughing Calypso and Jason. He was started but acted as if nothing happened.

"You doofus," Jason said, rolling his eyes, "we had to do your watch because your lazy ass can't stay up for long."

"I'm sorry," Percy said, yawning, "what time is it?'

"The crew's having breakfast. So 9."

Percy went down to the laughing crew and Leo handed a plate to Percy.

"Had a good nap last night?" Will grinned. Percy glared at him and started to eat blue pancakes. He grabbed the syrup that emerged from his plate and drowned his pancakes with syrup.

"You're going to drown your pancakes, Percy." Frank told him.

"If I can't drown, my pancakes can't." He responded, stuffing the pancakes in his mouth. Percy could eat like a satyr.

After breakfast, he and Piper went to her room, which was Annabeth's, hence why there were books all over the immaculate room.

"How was staying up with Calypso?" Piper asked. Jason sighed, grabbing Piper's hand. They were sitting next to each other on Annabeth's bed, Piper's temporary mattress already deflated.

"Don't tell me you're jealous."

"Well, I can't really help it," Piper frowned, looking down, "she's so pretty and you told me how strong she is, stronger than Frank even."

"But she's not Piper is she?" Jason responded. Piper giggled and threw a pillow at Jason.

"I swear on the River Styx I don't love anyone the way I love you." Jason insisted. "Well, except Gigi Hadid. She's an absolute knockout, isn't she?"

"I'll break your glasses." Piper threatened, pushing Jason.

"You're going to regret that, Piper." Jason frowned, and they started to play fight. Jason knew he could easily pin Piper down, but he restrained himself. After all, the last time they play fought, he gave Piper a black eye.

But that's a story for another day.

After a while, they lied next to each, breathing heavily. Leo opened the door to call them to have lunch, but they didn't hear.

"That was tight." Jason said. Leo blinked twice in shock.

"You're just being nice. You were being soft for me."

"Nah, I'm just happy you didn't break my glasses."

"It's fine, you made it up for me."

Leo just stood there, planning to take a cold shower.

"You messed up my hair!" Piper complained, plaiting one of her loose braids.

"You moan too much." Jason laughed, helping her with another braid.

"I need a cold, cold shower." Leo muttered, closing the door behind him as he left their room.

Piper and Jason turned to see a mortified Leo walk out of their room.

"Ah, schist," Jason cursed, getting up and running to Leo, "Leo! It's not what you think!"
