Frank was oddly silent. Obviously, Frank wasn't the most talkative, but he was very very silent.
"Frank? What's up, buddy?" He asked, sitting down next to Frank, who was staring at the horizon.
Buddy seemed weird to call Frank. He was stronger, larger, more ripped, more massive than Jason. Not to mention a Praetor. He wasn't jealous of Frank, Jason was not the jealous type, but he was sort of intimidated by the guy. A bit like Nico.
Nico. That guy should've been in the Seven. Jason felt like Nico was one of, if not, the strongest demigods of his generation. Mentally as well as ability.
"I'm fine, Jason." Frank said, smiling. Jason wasn't fooled. His grinned was half-hearted and had no glint in his eye that the loveable Frank Zhang was famous for.
"What did the Sirens say to you?" Jason asked.
Frank took a deep breath.
"I don't think I can say it right now."
"It's alright, bro," Jason stated, patting Frank on the back, "I get you. Wanna swim? Coach Hedge's Iris messaging's his kid, we're near the ocean, are you're related to Neptune, right? I don't think he hates me."
"Yeah, I can't think of a reason why Poseidon would have anything against you." Frank said. He looked out for a second, as if he was looking for something over the horizon, and looked back at Jason and smiled.
"Let's go."
The boys put on their swimming costume and jumped in. Jason felt the water hit his face and he felt at ease. The Moroccan sun was beating against Jason's skin but was cooled down by the water protecting him like a shield.
"I can't exactly not get wet like Percy," Frank said, "but I am doing well for an average demigod."
"Well, yeah." Jason said in a matter-of-fact sense. "I, on the other hand, am grateful for not yet drowning."
Frank nodded and Jason started to practise swimming. When he checked to see where Frank went, he felt water gushing in his face.
"I don't want to believe that you, Frank Zhang, threw water in my face." Jason said, not turning around.
"I'd rather not crush your wishes then." Frank grinned mischievously.
Jason arched his hands and placed them in the water.
"I'm the son of Jupiter! I'm a child of Rome, consul to demigods, past praetor of the Twelfth Legion. I slew the Trojan sea monster, I toppled the black throne of Kronos, destroyed the Titan Krios with my own hands and defeated Gaia. And now I'm going to defeat you, Frank Zhang, in a water fight!" Jason said, pushing water in Frank's direction.
And that's how they carried on for the next 20 minutes, fighting in the water.

"You boys are soaking my ship!" Coach Hedge shouted, glaring up at the two tall boys.
"Leo's." Frank corrected.
"Shut up!" Coach Hedge screamed. "Now get your beautiful, athletic, tanned, perfect body dried up!"
Jason raised an eyebrow but listened to him. Him and Frank walked to their cabins to dry off and change. For some reason, Jason felt like he needed to sleep. He obeyed to his wishes, and slept like a dog.
Jason was in front of Piper, who was dressed in a beautiful strapless white gown. Was this his wedding?
"You may now kiss the bride." Someone told him.
Piper smiled with her perfectly plump red lips and kissed Jason. It felt strange, however, as if it wasn't him. The scene changed. He was still kissing Piper, but they were in a bed.
Piper stopped kissing him, her hair a mess and her braids loosening.
"Our kids will be cursed if we continue." A voice said, but it was not Piper. The voice was rasp and filled with pure hatred.
"Half Roman and Half Greek. Your child with suffer from major personality disorder, powers too strong for a demigod. Your children will forever be tortured with voices in their head which will drive them mad. The only way to prevent this is to not marry Piper, Jason Grace. It's so simple."
"If I don't marry Piper? We can have children?" Jason asked Piper. He stroked her cheeks, hoping Piper would blush like she usually did. She was static.
"You will carry this curse into your life. You will have a child, Jason, the fates won't let that not happen. You must marry a Roman instead of a Greek. Your children will be very powerful, but without the split disorder."
"I can't leave Piper." Jason said.
"You must. Will you let your future children suffer?"
"Frank has that." Jason said, nearly shouting. "Frank has it. He's fine. He's perfect!"
"That's what he wants you to believe." The voice responded. Piper smirked. Jason shook his head, tears forming.
"You're a leader. You know sacrifices must be made sometimes. Break up with me."
"No." Jason responded, gripping his fist.
"Break up with me!" Piper shouted, her voice slowly returning. This hurt Jason so much more.
"I... I can't." Jason sobbed, covering his face with one of the pillows. "I can't live without you."
"You must. It's the only way." Piper said, placing his hair behind his ear.
He hugged Piper tightly, but she didn't hug back.
"I love you." Jason told the girl. He gripped her shirt tightly as if he was willing to not let her go.
"If you love Piper, you must let her go. Not have the burden of having a cursed child."
"Okay." Jason said, his heart broken. "But whoever this is, I will find you. And get answers."
"You can try." Piper said, the voice returning. The scene broke apart and Jason woke up.
"Jason! Jason!" Frank exclaimed, face full of panic.
Jason stretched and got up, grabbing his glasses that were on his bed stand.
"Hey, I'm okay." Jason assured him, smiling.
Jason wasn't okay. He was completely broken. Was he to be selfish, stay with Piper, curse his future children? Or would he break Piper's heart, but it would recover later on?
And he was having the time of his life a few hours beforehand.
Frank frowned and sat on Jason's bed.
"You're broken hearted, Jason." Frank told him. "It's how Coach Hedge looked before, but much worst."
Jason held back tears and didn't look Frank in the eye.
"I'm... I'm not." Jason said. "I just need to never sleep again."
"When you can tell me, do." Frank said. "I have a lot to discuss with you as well."
I'm so evil ;) This broke my heart writing omfg
