walls of her mind
gouging the defenses without
mercyshe screams
and pleads
and begs
silently
praying one day
someone will seethe art on her arms
and legs
the darkness under her eyes
the pain she hides awayshe's tired of fighting
the same fights
over and over again
of trying to prove
that maybe
just maybe
she's worth being saveduntil one day
the fire was put back
in her eyes
when she realized-she was worth fighting for herself
