Chapter 3: Demons' Possession

I opened the book. I expected it to be scary and all... But it wasn't scary, IT WAS NERVE RACKING! 😣

I signaled to Ace. He calmly came.
"Ace... I've only read the first two sentences, but I don't think I can read another word!" I nervously closed my violet eyes while I crossed my arms squeezing them.
"Oh... My sister read this book for some time. It's pure rubbish! It's not real." He said in an obvious tone.
"Ace, we live in a place where everything is a type of wonder. But there is also that place. That place below. Hell. Now mix Heaven🌌, Earth🌏 and Hell😈. What do we get? A world where anything is possible. So that can definitely be possible." I explained in a low tone of voice.
He made that are you serious face. He left while shaking his head.

I was determined in reading that book. My intuition never failed. It was telling me to read it. I did. I read the first page.

Demons' Possession

Demons' Possession is when a Demon possesses a God, Angel, Human or Animal. They can only possess a Human if the Human makes a pact with the Demon. And can't possess an animal. Demons used to possess Humans and Animals freely but, thanks to the Goddel, Earth is now safe. The Goddel made that incredible life-saving spell by sacrificing himself.

When a Demon possesses someone, they gain red eyes and a noticeable, to the bone, aura.

Although Demons' Possession isn't something that could cause destruction to Earth (well maybe), it can to Heaven. If an army strong enough to possess all Gods and Angels were to exist, Heaven would be ruled by the Demons. And with lots of work they could destroy the Goddel's spell and rule Hell, Heaven, and Earth. Only a Goddel can stop this so-called Possession.

After reading that, I just wanted to throw my self in my soft, fluffy bed and watch a baby's 👶🏻TV show. Like Teddy Angels or something.

Plus, I remembered how Asstela was acting that morning and her odd red eyes. That's when I lost it... 😰

In an act of despair, I smoothly hugged Ace while my violet eyes teared up and said.
"It's gonna be okay! Don't worry" I hugged him tighter.

When I realized what I did it was too late. He was all red, paralyzed! I could definitely see that blood coming out of his nose. 😳

I checked out the book and cried all the way home.

In my way, I could saw Asstela. She was talking with a strange, gloomy figure. I needed to hear their conversation!

I quietly flew to a nearby tree and I went elephant mode!
"Yes good work." The foggy creature said.
" Thank you. By the way, it has passed 1 billion years since the Goddel." The possessed Asstela said in a low and nervous voice.
"I know, but they are not aware of that. If they were, everyone would be talking about the news. Hopefully, the Goddel is just a child or a baby. We need to slay it quickly." The shadow seriously replied in an assertive and direct voice.
"It may destroy our plan," The fake Asstela shouted a bit.

I wanted to hear more of the conversation, but it was getting late. Luckily I left my phone in recording mode. And you know what that means! I would get to know all of the conversation!🤫

"Shiro! It's already 10 pm! The Academy doesn't finish at 10, it finishes 2:40! Where were you?!" My sister pulled my wings in alert.
"Hanging out with Ace," I lied. I mean. I wouldn't tell her about the Demons' Possession, fake Asstela and the chat about something called Goddel!

"Now that I think of it... What is a Goddel?..." I wondered.

I put my pajamas, played with my blonde hair a bit, hopped into my comfy bed opening the book.

I flipped and flipped the pages.
"Found it!"

Goddel

A Goddel is a mix of Angels, Gods, Demons, Devils, Humans and Animals.

The first and only Goddel was named: Rick Umemi.

Umemi always had a love for Earth. That's why he sacrificed himself for them creating the Hiauko Spell. The Hiauko Spell was a spell made to protect earth from all evils. Unless they made a pact, Humans nor Animals wouldn't be harmed by any Demon or Devil.

Umemi's parents were Angel Vaki Iueki and Goddess Yaroi Umemi (The old Goddess of Hope).

A Goddel is also the only creature who can break the Demons' Possession Spell. However, how it can destroy it, is unknown.

They thought Rick was half God half Angel. But no. His great grand cousins were Demons and Devils and his great great great cousins were Animals and Humans. Rick was a God, Angel, Demon, Devil, Human and Animal. The mighty Goddel!

Legend says that 1 billion years after a Goddel's birth, a new one is to be born.

A Goddel has violet eyes, blonde hair, a pair of Angel wings and a crown. It might think it's just an unholy Angel, but no. If a Goddel doesn't have a crown it's an unholy Goddel.

I immediately dropped the book and rushed to the mirror. I caressed my blonde long hair and opened wide my crying violet eyes.
"I am the Goddel..."
I felt responsibility hug me and eat me! It was too much. Especially because of the Demons' Possession thingy.

Plus, being a Goddel also explained my immense power!

I had to stop the Demons. There was no way out.
"I HAVE TO SOMETHING!" I cried while responsibility gobbled me up.
" I JUST WANTED TO BE A BIRD OR A CAT!" I fell to the ground while a mini-puddle formed.
Good thing Kita didn't hear me.

I whipped my tears and went to bed. I was ready for what awaited me! (Not really... I am just plagiarizing some random TV show's quote 😅)
