Gangnam, South Korea.

Lisa

Before you start reading, let me introduce myself.

My name is Lalisa Manoban, most people call me Lisa, well that is if there are actually people who want to call my name. You see... I'm invisible in this school. Only my three friends, Chaeyoung, Jennie and Jisoo can notice me, not even the teachers care if I'm actually attending class. They only know I'm going to class when they correct the exams and see that I literally exist.

Well, the truth is, I like it this way. Call me weird but I like the peace I get. No trouble, no problems or anything negative cause' that's the last thing I need in my life right now. My father who is a very rich and famous businessman, didn't unveil my existence to the public. He wants to "protect" me from bad people who'd only want to approach me because of my dad's fame.

The truth is my only three friends, are also my best and childhood friends. They are the only ones who know I'm the heir of one of the biggest companies in whole Asia. Yes, it's that big. Now you see why my parents want to hide my identity? You must be wondering why they're even sending me to school if they really want to conceal my identity. The school I'm going to is only for the Elite. Chaeyoung is the school chairman's daughter, Jennie and Jisoo are siblings and are also the daughters of the biggest private bank in South Korea. Cool right? I'm very proud of having them as friends.

Anyways, at this very moment, I'm sitting on the benches right outside the cafeteria, listening to music watching the soccer players play. While munching on my sandwich, I nod my head rhythmically to the music. Not to boast or anything but I can dance and rap pretty well. My cousins, Bobby and Hanbin are pretty good teachers. The both of them are already working in my father's company but their identities are also hidden, though they are not be connected to my father by blood, they are still family.

The strong wind hitting me on the face snapped me back to reality and I notice my revision notes flying away. I immediately jump on my feet and chased after five sheets of paper like my life depended on it. Honestly, I could just rewrite them at home as I remember every single word I wrote.

Not to brag or anything but I'm the epitome of perfection, I'm tall and slim, "perfect body for a model" their words, not mine. I also have the looks, well it's not my fault my parents are good-looking. I also have the brains, I inherited my mom's good memory, so I remember every lesson, which explains why I'm currently running for nothing. The elders always say that there isn't anything I can't do and to be fair, there is... I'm not athletic AT ALL. I get tired very easily and I can't run fast or for a long period of time. Although, very strangely, I don't feel tired after dancing.

Truthfully, I have no idea why I'm still running after these notes or even talking to myself . I guess it was too late to realize that as I've already caught my notes and they are now all crumpled in the tight grip of my right hand. I sigh, disappointed at myself for wasting time and energy. I look up from my hand and notice that I've never been to this part of the school before.

I hear squeaks and screeches from nearby and head towards the noise. I recognize the building in front of me, it's the sports hall, mostly used by the basketball and volleyball team. I must've went to the back of the hall. I pass by the entrance while quietly and slowly looking around. It's been a long time since I've went to this area.

Taking in the beautiful scenery in front of me, cherry blossoms flying around and this soft pink carpet lying on the ground like it's been made just for me, makes me feel like a princess. This is why I love spring. A mild breeze caressing your face, making your hair flow like the waves of the ocean. Flowers blossoming which represents a new life for them, slowly but surely opening up for the world awaiting for them. Everything about it was beautiful. I smile, feeling extremely satisfied with my surroundings, hoping this calm in my mind and heart would stay forever and never be bothered again.

Sometimes, your wishes don't come true, do they?

I felt a sharp and abrupt pain at the left corner my head, like I've been hit by something solid. And I was right, I got struck by a ball. A freaking ball! Who the actual fuck would be stupid enough to hit someone with their ball that hard? I fell down at the sudden force colliding against my body. I bring my left hand to the part where it hurts the most. Damn, that hurts, a lot. I sense a figure drawing near me and I get ready to defend myself. I didn't practice Karate for nothing.

Soon enough, I felt someone tap my shoulder and as I turn around, in position to knock the hell out of this stranger, I freeze. This stranger, this handsome stranger standing in front of me, is talking as he is moving his lips but neither of his words are registered and I can't help but stare at him. He must've noticed that I zoned out because he shook my shoulders making me snap back to the sad reality.

"Excuse me? Are you okay?" he asked frantically.

Hopeless, I only nod as a response.

"Are you sure? You don't look... okay." He asked again.

I tilt my head and he motions to the part where I get hit earlier. Unconsciously, I lift my hand to touch it and strangely, my fingers felt wet. I look at my fingertips and I see blood.

I passed out.

I woke up, in the school's clinic, with a crazy headache. I grunt, trying to sit up, and my hand felt heavy. Surprisingly, there he was, the fine as fuck stranger, okay that sounded wrong. I took my hand from his hold and caught a glimpse of myself on the mirror at the other side of the room, I noticed that I had a bandage around my forehead. Memories flash through my mind and I remember that I blanked out in front of this pretty boy, sleeping next to me. What a way to embarrass yourself Lisa, congratulations. I rub my face up and down out of embarrassment and of frustration. I feel shuffling beside me and pretty boy was awake now.

I stare at him and he suddenly stood up. Then, he bowed.

"I'm really sorry for hitting you with my ball! I'll do anything to pay you back."

So he was the one who hit me... I wouldn't mind getting hit by a ball everyday if I get to see his face.
