Narration
The sounds of shot glasses clinking, teens cheering, speakers blasting pop songs, echoed around the neighborhood. However, nobody complained. Why? Because it was a common happening. Every 3rd Friday night of the month, students from the university nearby would gather up in the Lee Mansion.
The Lees, the family leading South Korea's technology, were so rich that even if you took a billion dollars, they wouldn't notice. Lee Taeyong, the sole heir to this empire, hosted this frat party at their mansion. The whole university was always invited but only those had a high social position had the courage to come. And, only those who were in his social circle dared to go to the first floor. At every party, there were booze, a DJ, bartenders, weed, LSD and whatever you could imagine. All of these were of course provided by the host.
At this moment, Taeyong's full circle could be admired on the first floor, they were sitting around a low glass table with Johnny, Taeyong's cousin, pouring liquor in shot glasses. He was the group's bartender. Johnny didn't enter the technology business and opened his own club. He was a few years older than everyone but didn't stick out like a sore thumb. He has an undefined relationship with Jennie, one of the Kims.
The Kims are very much like the Kardashians. They are very influential through the media however; their family relations aren't messy. Their family is the nation's ideal family. Kim Jisoo, the eldest, is on her way to be a very successful neurosurgeon, topping Seoul National Medical University's entrance exams. Then comes, Jennie Kim, the aspiring fashion designer. Jennie isn't even finished with her studies, but she already has a name in the industry. She boldly sent her portfolio to a high fashion designer and her designs were almost up to par with professionals in the field. The famous designer gave her a short internship so that she could design the next season's clothes.
Then, we have Park Chaeyoung. She was born from a different mother who died from childbirth. And so, she kept her mother's last name to remember her. Chaeyoung is the cheerleading team leader and is an aspiring musician. A talent she got from her mother who used to be a singer. Unlike Jisoo and Jennie, Chaeyoung is reserved. Not because she was a child from the second wife, but because she wasn't really the type to socialize- more like she found it too tiring. She had a very calm and peace-seeking demeanor. She wouldn't go out of her way to make friends. She has very introverted tendencies but would not hesitate to help others in need, no matter who they were. A trait that she surely inherited from the Kims.
