Chapter 7: The Proposition

"Poor child. Poor, sweet child. She has a very serious problem," Fishface replied.

"If only there was something we could do. But there is something," I heard Rahzar say (he was wearing a neck breather).

"What-- What do you want?" I sniffled, knowing who they were and that they worked for Shredder.

"Don't be scared," Fishface remarked.

"We represent two people who can help you," Rahzar replied.

"Two people who can make all your dreams come true," Fishface added.

"Just imagine: you and your turtle," Rahzar responded.

F- "Together."

R- "Forever."

"I don't understand," I confessed.

"Ursula and Shredder have great powers," Fishface clarified.

I gasped at this. Not only the Shredder himself, but the sea witch from my turf? They want to help me with my problem?

"The sea witch? And the head of the Foot clan? Why that's-- I couldn't possibly-- No! Get outta here! Leave me alone!" I demanded, burying my head in my hands and no longer facing them.

"Suit yourself. It was only a suggestion," Rahzar practically smirked.

Fishface kicked the sais to me. I looked at them and hugged them tightly.

"Wait!" I said.

"Yes?" they both answered as they stopped.

I placed the sais in my holster and replied, "Take me to them."

I swam with them out of my grotto and it didn't take long for Sebastian and Shelly to notice.

"Jamie, where are you going? Jamie, what are you doing here with these riff raff?" Sebastian asked.

"I'm going to see Ursula and Shredder," I answered and swam ahead of them.

He gasped and begged as he held me back," Jamie, no! No! They're demons! They're monsters!"

"Why don't you go tell my father? You're good at that!" I snapped, shoving him off.

I continued to swim with Fishface and Rahzar as we got closer to their underwater lair.

A/N Things are getting really intense! And why would Shredder and Ursula want to help Jamie?
