Chapter 20: True Love

I felt strong arms catch me and someone hug me tightly. I tried to move, but I couldn't at the moment.

"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you, Jamie. Please be alive. I love you," I heard Raph sob.

I lifted my arms to hug him close and started to open my eyes. I saw Raph's beautiful, electric green eyes look at me with nothing but love. I smiled as he helped me up and hugged me tight, which I returned until I heard someone clear their throat. I looked to see my father with his crown on his head and his trident in his hand.

I groaned then said, "I am in so much trouble."

I walked up to my father, looking at him guiltily.

"Jamie, what were you thinking when making the deal with Ursula and Shredder?" he asked sternly.

"I had no choice, Dad. You thought all mutants were created by Shredder and he tried to do bad things to us. Which is only half right. I spent time with the turtles and their father and they are not who you say they are. And humans are the same. They were fighting against Shredder and I see them as another family. I wish you could see that," I explained.

My father's face softened and said, "I do. Do you really love this teenage mutant ninja turtle?"

I looked at Raph, who walked up to me and held my hand, and I answered, "More than anything in the whole world."

"And do you love my daughter?" Dad asked Raphael.

"I do, your highness. She saved my life and I wanted to protect her ever since I met her. And with your permission, sir, I would love to be with her," Raph answered.

"Well, I don't see why you can't," my father answered.

Everyone cheered as I hugged my dad.

"Thanks, Daddy," I said.

"You're welcome. Now go spend time with your boyfriend," Dad smirked.

I obeyed and hugged Raph and he returned it. Before we could kiss, Mikey started yelling.

"What are you waiting for? Time to celebrate!" he exclaimed.

We laughed and Raph held out his hand to me.

"May I have this dance?" he asked.

"You may," I said as I accepted.

As we danced, I sang to Raph. And the other girls joined in, dancing with their turtles.This was most definitely the best day of my life.

(A/N I really like this song and I changed it a little for it to make sense.)

At the end, Raph kissed me and I returned it with a huge smile on my face. Everyone cheered, but I felt like it was just Raph and me. I felt complete now that I am with the love of my life: Raphael, the teenage mutant ninja turtle.
