"Who's hungry?" Bellamy announced when we arrived back to camp. The camp broke out into cheers as Bellamy and Murphy dropped down the animal.

"Hey your back!" Octavia said running over.

"Hey O" I reply exhausted. This day was way too draining. "I'm beat, carry me" I say pretending to faint.

"Nah I'm good" She says letting me drop to the ground.

"Rude" I say as I dust the dirt off of my still bloody sweats.

"Gross those look nasty, don't you have any other pants?" She asks making me raise an eyebrow at her to ask 'what do you think?'

"That's what I thought, alright come here" She says pulling my arm and practically dragging me over to her tent. What's with these people in just pulling me wherever the heck they want.

She unzipped the tent and we both entered. Then she walked over to a small little pile next to her "bed" which just was made up of blankets laying on the floor. She searched through the pile, throwing clothes across the tent as she looked for a specific pair of pants.

"Here these should work" She says chucking a black, khaki pair of pants over to me.

"Thanks" I say as I gladly strip down my ugly stained pants and put on the new ones. I pull them up to my waist but they end up falling right back down. Octavia and I share the same looks as we both looked at the pants now at my ankles.

"Dang girl don't you eat!?" She exclaims running her hand through the back part of her ponytail.

"Pretty hard to do when-" I say but stop and look around her tent. "You know a belt would work" I say grabbing the black belt I saw resting on her nightstand table, trying to find any type of distraction but keeping it logical. At first she gave me a confused look about my original, cut-off statement but then luckily shrugged it off and agreed with me about the belt.

My outfit was at least matching somewhat with the black pants, white t-shirt, and black combat boots.

"Hey now that I think about it why don't you just stay here?" Octavia offers as she gathers her clothes back up from all around the tent. "You still haven't found a tent yet right?"

"No I haven't, but yeah that would be great!" I say smiling widely. Octavia was so nice, she was like the sister that I never had.

"You know your about the same age I was when I was hiding under the floor on the ark." Octavia starts saying as she sits down on the layers of blankets.

"I don't get how you did that" I say siting down next to her. "I would get so claustrophobic" I tell her shaking my head. I knew it was a crime to have two children on the ark and Octavia had just answered my question on how she had lived through it.

"Well I was always afraid" She told me making me lean back with my hand over my chest.

"No way. You? Afraid." I say in disbelief. Octavia was never one to strike me as someone who was afraid but then again everyone gets afraid at times. Some more than others.

"Of course, but those times under the floor, that's what shaped me into who I am today."

"How'd you do it?" I ask her curiously. I know if I was in that situation I wouldn't know what to do with myself.
