My heart began to pound in my chest and I stared at Talulah for a few moments, unable to find the willpower to move or speak.

She winced and clutched her stomach tightly, pursing her lips together. She groaned quietly, and the noise managed to drag me out of my frozen state.

"Freddie!!!" I called loudly and rushed to Talulah's side. "Can you walk?"

"Just... give me a second." She panted and squeezed her eyes shut, bending over a little.

"Freddie!!" I called again, louder this time.

I heard the door bang open, then Freddie appeared at the end of the slim hallway.

"What's wrong??" He asked, the worry evident on his features.

"The baby's coming!"

"What?!"

"You heard!!" I cried. "Baby, popping out her vagina, right now!"

His eyes widened. "Shit! What do we do?!"

I blinked a few times, my mind suddenly blank again. I could feel myself beginning to panic, and I couldn't remember a thing that we'd gone over.

Talulah let out another groan which caused Freddie to panic and shout my name.

"Stop fucking shouting at me!" I yelled, frowning.

"Tell me what to do then!!!"

"I don't know!!"

"Ugh, you two are useless!" Talulah grumbled and took a deep breath before continuing. "There's a bag in my apartment, behind the door. I need that. Freddie, run and get it. Meet Jac and I in the infirmary."

She threw her keys at him and he nodded before disappearing.

"Have you stopped panicking yet?" She asked me.

I shook my head. "Nope. It's only going to get worse."

She half-heartedly smiled. "I'm internally freaking out too."

I let out a relieved sigh, and placed a hand on her back. "You good now? Can you walk?"

She nodded. "For now."

The pair of us slowly walked up towards the infirmary, stopping every few minutes when she felt a pain and needed to catch her breath.

Eventually, we got there and Lizzie was the first to spot us.

Her eyes widened, and a grin formed on her face. "Baby's on it's way, I take it?"

I nodded and Lizzie rushed over, softly taking Talulah's arm and leading her towards a bed.

"Are you ready?"

Talulah shook her head. "I thought I was, but I don't wanna do this anymore."

"You don't have a choice, sweetness. This baby can't stay in there forever." Lizzie told her. "I'll go and get Vanessa."

Talulah nodded, then winced and clutched her stomach again.

I made my way over to her side, my heart still thumping in my chest.

"It hurts, Jac." She whimpered.

I nodded and pushed her hair away from her clammy forehead. "It will. You already knew that."

"I didn't think it would be this bad.."

"You'll be alright. Just think, not long until you've got your baby in your arms."
