Jily a Fanfic

Chapter 2

James POV

Lily seated in front of me. Taking parchment and a quill and some ink and started writing.

"Well for started we need to tell the prefects to do rounds around the train and to help other find their way to the carriages." Her beautiful voice spoke like an angel.

"Ok I will do that you stay here I will be right back." I said to her. She looked a little amazed that I was doing this but she stood up and said she was coming with we walked and searched for everyone one by one, until there were only missing the Slytherins from our year. I could see Lily tensed a little so I gave her an encouraging smile and nod and entered the compartment and it fell silent.

"Okay, prefects so what you need to do for now only is to check the hallways and to help the other students get to the carriages once we get to Hogsmade. That's all and thank-you." Lily said and as we were about to leave Snape said.

"Yeah right like we are listing to what a mudblood is saying." When he finished I saw Lily, my beautiful Lily's emerald eyes filled with tears and her head bowing down. I grabbed her hand and yelled in fury to Snape taking my wand out pointing it at him.

"Don't you dare say that again Snivellus or you will regret this!!! Come on Lily." I said and I could fell Lily staring at me with wide open eyes and a smile on her face. We walked away and went to our compartment.

Once inside Lily gave me a hug. That surprised me because she always was yelling at me and saying I and an ignorant-toe-rag. Second later I realized what was happening and hugged Lily back. She pulled away and smiled to me and sat on the seat and patted it so I could seat.

"Thank-you James, really I thought he was my friend you were right all the time." She said leaning her head on my shoulder while I hugged he with one arm. She called me James, for the first time it was always Potter. I liked the sound of how my name sounded from her voice.We sat on silence when then the door opened and came Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew my best mates or as we call our self the Marauders.

We each have a nickname and we got the idea from the animals we transform to help Remus when he transforms to a werewolf. Sirius is Padfood because he transforms into a big black dog. Peter is Wormtail because he transforms into a rat. Remus is Monny because he's a werewolf and I'm Prongs cause I turn into a stag. No one knows were are illegal animagus and that took us a lot of time to learn by ourselves.

"Sorry did we interrupt something between you two?" Sirius asked.

"No of course no James was only comforting me about Snape." Lily said.

Sirius just nodded and I said.

"So we are on first names are we. Because I would love you to say my name."

"Yes James, and we can be friends." She said and smile.

I was over the moon and smiled. Finally I would have a chance with Lily and try for her to be my girlfriend. Hopefully. We all chatted and went to change to our robes as we were approaching Hogwarts. Lily and the guys talked as they had been friends all these years and that made me really happy and jumpy inside. Once outside we helped others to the carriages. And a first year girl asked me.

"Is she your girlfriend? Because she's so pretty."

"Oh no she isn't but we will be and she's beautiful." I responded.

Lily then came by us and asked what was going on and a first year boy told her.

"We were just saying how bea-mhmhm!" I interrupted him by covering his mouth with my hand.

"Okay... Well you kids just go with Hagrid and you will enter Hogwarts in the little boats!" With that they skipped were Hagrid was standing yelling 'first year, first year!'

Once everyone was on carriages there was one left for us and we went up. It was silent but not an awkward silence was. Just then the castle was at view and said.

"Beautiful isn't it?"

"Yeah you can never get tired of looking at it." Lily said.

"Not as beautiful as you." I said and she turned red like her hair. "Lily you look beautiful when you blush." She even blushed more if it could be possible and got to the Hogwarts grounds.
