Jily a Fanfic

Chapter 3

Lily's POV

I kept blushing. Normally my old self would yell at James, or tell him to sod off, or say something to him, but never blush, smile and think I am pretty. Never in my life I had felt that and it was a nice new feeling.

We entered the Great Hall and seated in the Gryffindor table. The sorting hat was just finishing sorting the new first year. I sat in between Marlene and Alice who was next to Frank. And James sat on front of me with Sirius at one side and Remus at the other with Peter besides him. When Marlene saw me sitting down she immediately asked me. She's very jumpy on things.

"So who's Head Boy? It's it someone cute? It's he from Ravenclaw? Tell me!" Marlene was flying in her seat. Before I could answer James spoke.

"To answer those questions, I am Head Boy, I'm not cute but handsome and as you can clearly see I'm on Gryffindor."

Marlene mouth fell and spoke, "you I don't believe you, I have known you since dippers and you will never get that position. Now Lily tell me who is it."

"Mar, it's really James Head Boy." I told her.

"What! But he-." But Marlene never got to finished because Dumbledore started speaking. Saying the rules that we the Forbidden Forest was well forbidden, no magic in the corridors, no wondering at night, and keeping out of trouble. When he said the last part he looked at James, Sirius, Remus and Peter. After all the mischief they had done he has known them very well. He finally finished talking clapped his hands and food appeared. All the first years 'ooooo' and 'ahhhhh' even us feel like that every time food appear.

I hunted down my food and ate it all until my tummy couldn't hold more. The food made here was excellent. I felt someone's eyes on me and when I turned up I saw those beautiful hazel eyes behind those squared glasses. I felt my my cheeks fill with blood and blush. Why I kept doing that, it's not fair only he can do that to me. He saw this and gave me a quick smile and turn to speak with Remus about when 'something is coming up'. I only heard a response that said 2 weeks.

Marlene and Alice finished and we went up to the Gryffinodr tower. We were talking about what we did in summer for vacations and Marlene and the boys she meet and snogged. We said the password to the fat lady and entered. Up the stairs I was the last one to go and before I went up someone grabbed my arm and I felt warm tingles.. When I turned around I saw it was James and he said.

"Night Lily."

"Night James." He smiled at me and when he let go of my arm it felt cold.

Up at the dormitory I opened the door and was staked by questions by Marlene.

"So what up with James? Do you fancy him? Do you like him? He changed hasn't he? Come on Lily tell me!" She spoke so fat and was breathing heavily.

"Okay calm down please. I don't know he isn't the same arrogant-toe-rag bully. He has changed and maybe I fancy him."

"Oh my God, finally Lily. I called the ship name Lames. You need to tell him!" Marlene said excitedly. 

"Okay you can call us whatever you want but I can't tell him. I want him to make the first move. Okay so just give us time."

"Lily's right Mar, she should wait. But what kind of ship name is Lames it sounds lame better be Jily." Said Alice.

"I like better Jily. Well any who goodnight." I said and put on my pjs. I rested my head on my pillow and stared to think about what Remus said in 2 weeks. I also drifted to a deep sleep with James Potter.
