Chapter 19

Lily's POV.

The door opened and then closed. "Honey we are home!" Dad shouted. I placed the forks on the table to see if James was there and surely he was. I think that while they went for a walk my father threaten him. I walked towards him and gave him a peck on the lips, smiled up at him and he grinned at me. I grabbed his hand and walked towards the dinning room where mum, dad, Petunia, Vernon and Sirius were already sitting waiting for us.

Mum, Petunia and I made the food, but Petunia didn't help that much because when her fiancée of a whale came she left it in the middle and went to him. Once we were all sitting down we started serving each others food.

"Mum why are we using the china?" Petunia asked my mother.

"Well we have guests James and Sirius are here and Lily came back from school." I knew this wasn't the complete truth about her.

"Why haven't we used the china when Vernon comes?" I smile inside when she said this.

"I don't know really. I guess I quite forgot." Ha! I know my mum doesn't likes Vernon and using her china was very important to her so James must be something she is happy about and that he accepts him. We continued talking Petunia and Vernon in hushed voices probably insulting us, mum and dad were talking and so were James and Sirius. I was just observing everything enjoying my family.

Once finished with dessert we went to the living room and sat down. Mum and dad were sitting on chairs, Petunia and Vernon on a love seat and James, Sirius and I were squashed up in the couch leaving me in the sandwich.

"Lily could you show us magic please? Also James and Sirius can show us if they would like to." I just nodded my head and stood up. I and took a quick glance at Petunia who was giving me a death glare which stated she was jealous and Vernon was looking nervous. He is still confused about the Wizarding world and instead of looking at the good way he took us as if we were freaks just like Petunia. I concentrated on my happiest memory which was me with James and said in almost a whisper.

"Expecto patronum." From the tip of my wand a silvery smoke came and took shape of a doe. James stood up and preformed the same spell and Sirius just lazily moved his wand and a big dog came. My parents faces were watching the animals with awed expressions. The doe and stag were cuddling together as the dog was trying to catch the attention of the stag. I laughed at this.

"Wow Lily that was beautiful." I smiled at my parents and as I was going to sit down James sat before me and pulled me to his lap. With one arm he wrapped it around me and I relaxed into his firm body while his other hand started rubbing my arm. I turned around and smiled at him and gave him a quick kiss. The rest of the night was spent with us showing different spells to my parents much to Petunias groaning and talking about what we have learned this school year so far.

"So boys what are you going to do and work once you finish your education." My dad asked James and Sirius.

"Well sir for working I want to work as and auror and protect everyone. And I don't know what will happen in the future but I do want to spend the rest of it with Lily. " James said and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I just turned deep red. I knew he wasn't telling me something, but it doesn't matters because I truly trust him.

"Can I just ask what is an auror." Oh my dad and his curiosity never stops.

"Dark wizard catcher, they hind down or capture dark wizards. Like police officers or military solider. An auror is a member of an elite unit of highly-trained, specialist officers within the Department of Magical Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Magic trained to investigate crimes related to the Dark Arts, and apprehend or detain dark wizards and witches. Auror training is very difficult and intensive. You need good grades to get in so ones truly qualify for it." I fished breathing a little hard.

"Okay Lily I think he gets it." James said with a smile plastered in his face while Sirius chucked to himself.

"And you Sirius?" My mother asked him.

"I also want to be an auror. My family were involved with the dark arts so first when I got into Gryffindor they had a little of a heart attack but when I refused to make dark magic they said I was a disgrace to the Black family and they disowned me. I now live with James and his folks. So once I beat them down I will marry the girl I like."

"I'm so sorry for your past dear. You are welcome here any time you want. And who's these lucky girl?"

"Marlene." He said and my mother grinned at him.

"Lily's friend?" My mum asked. Sirius nodded his head.

The rest of get evening was spent talking and answering my parents questions they had about the Wizard world. Petunia kept whispering words to Vernon. We finished talking and Vernon went home and not bothering to say good-bye to Sirius, James nor me, as if we were a virus. I help mum with the dishes while the boys were chaining to their pajamas.

"James seems like a good boy." I turned from drying the plate to face her.

"Yeah he really is." I smiled to myself. "Oh and mum tomorrow we will go out the here of us and I will show them around and what muggles do and how they live. This will be a great experience."

"Oh that will be wonderful then the next day will be your sisters wedding, you have a dress already I presume right?" Crap.

"Of course I have a dress already."

"Mhmm, really well just in case I bought you a dress." My mum is really a live saver.

"Thanks mum." I gave her a kiss and placed the glass on the counter. I went up the stairs to where James and Sirius were staying and knocked on their door. Hey I couldn't just walk in there as if I owned the place. Okay maybe this is my house so I own it but they might not be properly dressed. Someone opened the door and James head popped out grinning at me.

"Hey James can I ask you something?"

"You already did." I rolled my eyes.

"Well tomorrow I wanted to show you how muggles live and how they make stuff. Are you and Sirius into it?" I started walking to my bedroom and he was tailing behind me.

"Well I would like this experience with you darling. But knowing Sirius he wont come with us." I just nodded and when inside my bathroom and changed into my dark blue pajamas with flowers on the pants. Once I got outside the bathroom I found sitting on my bed James. I walked pass him and got under the quilt and made myself comfortable, I felt James moving and when I opened my eyes I saw big hazel eyes looking at me which made me blush.

"Night Lily-love." He said and kissed my forehead. I smiled from his act towards me.

"Night James, see you tomorrow." And with that he tucked me in, gave me another quick kiss, turn off the lights and closed the door. I closed my tired eyes and sleep no consumed me and I slept like a baby thinking about tomorrow.
