Jily a Fanfic

Chapter 1

Lily' POV

"Lily, Lily, come on. Wakey, wakey. Come on Lily wake up or you'll be late for the train!" That woke me up.

Mum was at the foot of my bed trying to wake me up.

"Okay, okay I'm up. I am going to get ready." I said.

"Good, I made your favorite breakfast for today. Eggs with bacon and biscuits! Your dad, Tunny and I will leave you at the train station." With that she closed by room door and left me alone to change clothes and to get ready.

Once I was done I went downstairs and gave a kiss to my dad who was reading the news on the table. Mum passed me my plate full of food and I started eating. Mum was fussing around the kitchen saying we didn't have enough time to get ready, so she made me eat rapidly and made me go for my trunk. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs to the car and placed by trunk inside it. Everyone was ready except for Petunia who was whining about not wanting to go.

"Petunia you are coming with us either you like it of not, it's Lily's last year and you are coming."

Petunia was dragging her feet to the car and once inside it my dad started the car engine and we were off to King' Cross Station.

"So Tunny," I started a conversation to defuse the tension, "how it's going with Vernon?"

"Good." She said and turn to look at the window.

I thought if she didn't want to talk to me well I can't to anything about it, so why bother?

Mum put some music and talked to dad and like Tunny I looked outside the window.

We were passing other buildings while my head was full of things thinking. I became Head Girl, it was my last year at Hogwarts, I would present my NEWTS, and I had to pick a job for the future and rest of my life. I was thinking a lot of things that I didn't track time and we got to the train station. Dad gave me a cart and we placed my trunk in it and walked to platforms 9 and 10.

"Bye honey be good and beat everyone on their tests and enjoy your last year at Hogwarts. Love you and take care" Dad said to me and gave me a bear hug.

"Lily I love you and I'm going to miss you so much. Please behave and get good grades as always. Take care, love you." My mum said to me with a hug and kissing my cheek. Tears were treating to fall from her eyes.

"Petunia something you want to tell your sister before she goes?" Dad asked her.

She just nodded her head no and mumbled "freak". That word always hurt me a little but I knew she didn't really meant it. I said one final good-bye to my parents and ran through the wall entering to platform 9 3/4.

Right when I passed I saw the scarlet train and parents saying good-bye's to their children that were going to Hogwarts. I was walking when I heard my name.

"Lily! Wait!" Marlene McKinnon my best friend yelled at me.

"Hi Marlene, how was your summer vacations?"

"Great , good my parents and my brother went to see wizard mummies in Africa. It was cool. Yours?"

"Great, I figured Petunia has a boyfriend named Vernon Dursley who looks like a pig and had a great time with my parents. Come, let's go and grab a compartment on the train!" I said and pulled her to the Hogwarts Express.

We search for a compartment when we saw Alice Peewit and Frank Longbottom together talking.

"Hey! How have you been?" I asked them.

"Oh, good as always just talking with Alice." Said Frank.

I smiled at them. They were a cute couple and they really loved each other. We all started talking and the train started to move.

"Um Lily?" I turned my head away from the book I was reading.

"Yes? What's wrong?"

"Don't you have to be at the Heads compartment?"

"Shoot! I totally forgot! Damn how could I forget!" I said very fast getting my book inside my bag and rushing outside.

"Tell us who is Head Boy will you?" Asked Marlene.

"Yes. Now I really need to go!" I said running the hallway to the compartment. I could hear them laughing and saying 'typical Lily'. I just rolled my eyes and continue running to the Heads compartment. I finally opened it sliding the door and to my surprise James Potter was sitting on the sofa smirking at me. He had jet black hair that couldn't be tamed, glasses and hazel eyes.

He usually asked me to go out with him but I keep saying no. I feel he will brake my heart in a million pieces or because I am the only girl who he hasn't gone out with. I said no because he bullied Severus but since Severus called me a mudblood I didn't care what James did to him. And surprisingly he stopped asking me out and stopped hexing random people t hallways and helped others. He seemed nice and he was becoming more of a friend I think. He really matured and changed.

"What are you doing here? This compartment if for Heads only." I said crossing my arms.

"Well I am here cause I'm Head Boy!" He said proudly standing.

"What? You're Head Boy? I thought it would be Remus or some Ravenclaw."

"Wow Evans you hurt me." He said touching were his heart is.

"Sorry I reacted wrong."

"Well so what are we going to do now?"
