Chapter 9

Lily's POV

I woke up and I felt something, no someone under me. I opened my eyes and saw James under me. I started to panic, but the memories of last night came and I relax and laid my head on James chest. He was still asleep. I turned my head and saw a rat on the table. How my hate for rats exist I will never know.

"Ahhhhh!!!" I shriek. I didn't even know I could scream that loud. I jumped on top of James waking him up wanting to see what was happening.

"What's wrong?" He asked. His hair was all messed up still yawning. I just pointed to the rat unable to speak. He turned around and saw the rat. He seem okay with it and shooed it. It scram to the boys dormitories but I didn't care it wasn't here.

"Thanks James." I said and snuggled next to him. He just nodded and put and arm around me. Some people started to get downstairs going for breakfast.

"Um Lily maybe we should get ready. I will wait for you down here." I just nodded and headed upstairs to my dormitory. I got up and saw Marlene saying things under her breath.

"Hey Mar." She turned and looked relieved.

"Hey! Were were you? You didn't came back last night?"

"Well I when James was teaching me the patronus charm mine as a doe and his is a stag. I then ran out crying and James came looking for me. We came back to the common room and we poured our hearts and he asked me out and I felt asleep with him. So yeah that happened last night." I said it so fast I was out of breath.

"Wait you said you are going out? Finally Lily that poor boy finally got his wish."

"Well, yeah see you in the great hall. Bye." I came down the stairs and found James waiting for me.

"Hello my sunshine. Ready to go?" I just nodded, grabbed his hand interlacing fingers and went down to eat breakfast.

As we passed the doors everyone saw us and went quiet. I herd some people whispering.

"What isn't she screaming at him?"

"James and Lily no way."

"Do you think she's eaten a love potion."

We sat down with Sirius and Remus, people still kept whispering and giving us stares. Sirius stood up on his place and screamed.

"ATTENTION EVERYONE," I saw James put his hands on his face, "I WOULD LIKE TO YOU TO KNOW THAT AFTER PLEADING AND BEGGING FOR 7 YEARS OUR HEAD GIRL LILY EVANS HAS FINALLY SAID YES TO BE JAMES POTTERS GIRLFRIEND." I was burning red. Everyone started to cheer expect Slytherin. Sev looked hurt but why did he care he said I was a mudblood. Sirius turned to Dumbledore and gave him a nod which he returned. He sat down and James slapped his head.

"Ouch!"

"James you told them?"

"Well yes he said if I didn't tell him why I slept with you he would do something to my broomstick."

"Quidditch freak. Wait how dose he know I slept with you?"

"Oh-um-well you see um..." He couldn't answer me.

"Lily we will tell you tonight. Just meet us in the room of requirement." Remus told me.

"Okay..." This must be important if Remus is saying this. The day passed and Sev stopped me before going with the Marauders.

"So you and Potter? Really I thought you hated him he bullied me! How could you betrayed me Lily I thought you were my friend."

"Yeah it's me and James not Potter. If you haven't noticed you both have changed, James changed for the better and you for the worst. You make dark magic and want to be a Death Eater. I didn't betrayed you. And if you haven't noticed we finished being friends since you called me a mudblood!" I started screaming.

"STUP-" he started saying but got interrupt.

"EXPELIRAMUS!" James said and Sev's wand lefts his hand.

"That would be 50 points from Slytherin for insults and 50 for firing a spell to another!" James said. Aww he really cared about me and cared about his Head Boy duties.

"Now run." He scramble and James turned to me.

"Are you okay did he touched you?" He asked in his concerned voice.

"I am fine, thank-you James." We put his arm around my waist and lead me to the seventh floor were the room of requirement stood. James paced a few steps and a door appeared. I turned the knob and we entered.
