Chapter 16

James POV

December started and all was going well. I wanted to go on a date with Lily so we could have more time together but it was hard and I was nervous even though we are already dating. I had to ask Moony for ideas. I mean there was the next Hogsmead visit and we could go but I don't know what else we could do.

"Umm Moony can I ask you something?" He put down his thick dusty book and looked at me with an irritated look because si had lost his place in his reading.

"Yes?"

"Well I want to ask Lily on a date and maybe we could go to Hogsmead but I do t think it's enough. Do you have any ideas?" I asked hopefully.

"Well after going to Hogsmead you could fly your broomstick and watch the sunset. I don't know I am not the one in the relationship."

"Thank-you I could kiss you right now." I said jumpy and going to him.

"Please don't." He said placing his hand before him." I just rolled my eyes and went to find Lily.

I didn't needed the map cause it was an obvious place she would be at the library. Up the stairs I went. Some girls tried flirting with me and winked at me but when will they get through their thick skull I already have a wonderful girlfriend and I am not interested. When I finally got to the library I walked through some bookshelves and some tables when I saw my favorite red headed person. She was witting furiously in a piece of parchment books all over the table. I took a seat next to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I could see she a blush coming to her cheeks.

"Hey James what's up."

"I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me tomorrow. There's the Hogsmead trip I want wanted to go with you." My hands were sweating.

"Yes, as long as we don't go to Madam Pudifoot's. I hate that place with all the smells, and steam."

"I am glad we agree on it." I said smiling that Lily is very different to other girls but in a good way.

"So see you tomorrow?"

"Yes right after breakfast."

"Okay bye James."

"Bye Lily."

"Oh and James? You don't have you be all sweaty and nervous. I love you."

"Love you too." I said and walked to the common room blushing all the way. I meet with my mates ready for sleep. I was so tired of quidditch practice that my muscles hurt. I laid on bed and not bothering to changed I fell into dreamland where I dreamed of a certain red headed getting married, having kids and growing old together.

~next morning~

I was waiting for Lily to finish her breakfast so we could go to Hogsmead. I was jumping in my seat like when I was little. When she finished we stood up and headed where Flitch was checking who was going out and who was staying in the castle. We started walking the road. Lily was dressed in some brown leggings, a brown skirt, a blue shirt that was covered by her white puffy coat and had a woolen hat on top of her head. We were walking talking about nothing when Lily asked.

"James why are we taking a dog?" Dam it! Sirius said he would helped me with my date. Not that I needed help but he insisted on helping.

"Oh he's just a lovable stray that hangs around Hogsmead." I had come good to making lies.

"Oh really, what's his name?"

"Snuffles." I panicked and blurt out the first thing that came to my mind. I could see Sirius rolled his eyes I just continued walking with Lily. We arrived at Hogsmead and it was full of students and some older people who lived here.
