Hours of thoughts pass and my mind continues to orbit around the images of Christian. Like before, I sense my body craving his presence. I must see him, but not like this. I summon my Quadrant form to appear and fly into the evening. I do not know where he is but, I am adamant to find him. I soar above every forest, wood and alley in Dakota and there is no sign of him.

Just then, I recall him telling me once, that he would love to visit Italy. I bet he has flown to Italy. No! He must be weak so, I reckon he must be close by.  I continue to flutter my vast wings but I am hopeless. I land on the ground below me and close my eyes. I think of Christian and allow my heart to show me his whereabouts. I squint harder and finally, I see something. It looks like an inn... 'The Seekers Inn' it's called.

I soar from window to window and abruptly, I stop. I notice someones blonde hair glistening through the beams emitting from the moon. Christian. My soul uttered. Should I appear to him as a human? Of course not, I can't show him who I really am - he'll only get suspicious as to how I got here. You can do this, Ever. He won't recognise me, I hope. I know I am breaking an imperative law but, I am vulnerable. So, I fade through his window and disclose myself.

''Christian.'' My lips whisper.

''Who are you?'' He asks, enthralled.

''Ever.''

''What are you? You can't be an angel...'' He says.

''No, I...I am a Quadrant.'' I swallow my gut, and reply to him.

''You are truly, a beauty, Ever. But, why are you here? Surely, you must know who I am.''

''I do, indeed. Christian Black. You are famous in the heavens. I come bearing news for you.'' I continue.

''Oh, what news?''

''Your forgiveness has been heard. It is time to restore your purity. I know you have suffered enough hence we, angels, have decided to give you your life back.''

I give him the answer he has longed for - despite being unaware of the verdict that is to come. I feel his heart beats pirouette in jubilee, as his face lights up with bliss.

''WHAT? HOW? REALLY?'' He howls.

Tears dribble down his colourless face. I try to control the sudden tears in my eyes.

''Yes, you heard me. This is the truth.'' I mutter, trying to conceal my tears.

''This...is...unreal. I never thought a day would come, that I would be this happy. I must tell Rose!'' He yells.

''Rose?'' I pretend, as if I am unaware.

''She is the girl I live and breathe for. We can be together now. She said she would help me get my purity back but, she doesn't need to do anything now. I have been heard. I'm going to get my life back!'' He sobs, cheerfully.

''You two must be lucky to have each other. I hope you enjoy the precious time you have, together.''

''Thank you so much. Give my thanks to everyone!''

''No worries. Now, I must go. Oh, one more thing before I leave. You are only permitted to see Rose, once you have regained your purity.'' I order.

''Uh, okay. I'll do anything!''

''Good. Now, I must leave. Goodbye Christian. It was a pleasure meeting you.''

''Bye.''

I fly back home and apparate through my window. I felt relieved knowing Christian was ok - more than ok for that matter. The guilt gnawed my flesh - for no one knew...what was yet to come...
