It's been a week since I helped out Chase. Not that i'm complaining or anything. There was just something about him that made me want to relate to him so bad. Since he was my neighbor I did happen to see him outside, or in his window. I swear i'm not stalking him or anything! His window is directly across from mine, so I see him a lot. Last night he was being particularly himself.
Flash Back:
Sometimes I wonder why I even go on jogs in the first place. It makes me so tired.
"MOM! IM HOME!" I said in between breaths.
"Okay sweetie! Oh and by the way Jasper called you earlier today."
"I'll make sure to ring him, i'm gonna get out of these clothes."
I ran upstairs taking off my sweaty hoodie and shorts. As soon as I bent down, I heard a loud whistle. Shoot! I completely forgot my window was open! As I was gonna make a run for it, I tripped over my shoes.
"Uff"
"You okay there princess?" I could just imagine Chase's stupid smirk. Ugh he pissed me off so much! Instead of conversing with the devil himself, I put up a thumbs up. I quickly put on an old t shirt that belonged to Jasper, and got up.
"So Chase, I didn't take you for a pervert." I said crossing my arms.
"I'm not but if you're gonna put on a show for me, who am I to interrupt?" Chase said dramatically putting his hand over his heart.
"You little fuck-"
"Tsk Tsk, now I don't think you wanna finish that sentence." he said smirking.
He frustrated me so freaking much! So I did what any other frustrated teen would do. I yelled at the top of my lungs and flipped him off.
END OF FLASHBACK
As I looked around for my new favorite wool sweater, I realized summers in California are long and I still have all my clothes from Minnesota and it's all warm material. I needed to go shopping desperately, but I hate to have to go by myself. Wait a second! I can call Lizzie, I mean she did say she needed a friend. Plus, I'm really desperate for at least one.
TEXTMESSAGE
Avez: Hey Lizzie! It's Ava, are you busy?
I sent that text and not even a minute went by that I got a text back
TEXTMESSAGE
Lizzie: Nope! I was actually about to text you to see if you wanted to go out to the mall? Lizzie: Need some clothes for the first day of school!!!!
Aves: You literally read my mind! Mind picking me up?
Lizzie: Sure! It's a date.
After texting Lizzie my address I went into my closet to find a cute outfit to wear. I gave up after 5 minutes and settled for something simple and comfy.
