Ava's POV
It was currently Monday, and I had a hard time getting up from bed this morning. I had stayed up until midnight the previous night due to Jasper and Khloe's flight leaving. Let's just say I'd miss 1/2 of my friends. P.S it wasn't Khloe. I got up lazily and went to the bathroom for a quick shower. Ever since the whole ordeal with Mr. Brey happened, I tended to take longer showering. I still felt dirty and it had been two days. There were so many things swirling my mind these past couple days, which caused so many headaches.
I hopped out of the shower and got dressed in some distressed jeans, a black t-shirt, and my white sneakers. I was going for a 'don't notice me' look. I didn't want anyone to even glance at me today, I had enough attention the past couple weeks. I checked the time, and saw that i'd be late if I didn't hustle. I jogged downstairs picking up a can of ravioli. I'm aware that it's unhealthy but did I care? Heck no.
I was in my black Jeep and played Cake By The Ocean by DNCE. I saw Chase's Cadillac still in his driveway. If this boy didn't hurry,he'd also be late. I doubted he cared though. Suddenly, his front door flew open and out came Chase in all his glory. He wore black running shorts, and a long sleeve Pacific Vista shirt. He really could pull of anything. Wait, friends don't think like this! This is what you wanted Ava, don't engage! Chase saw me about to take off in my car, so he sent a friendly wave. It's not like i'm gonna ignore him, so I waved back. I hoped I could restrain myself all day.

I was walking off towards my English class and noticed how many people were greeting me. Not to mention most of them I had never spoken to. It was kinda odd, since no one ever said hi to me. It's not like I was some sort of goddess, but I still appreciated the gesture. I made my way into the English classroom, and a green eyed boy motioned me towards him.
"Hey Ava! Come sit here!" I walked over to him smiling in curiosity.
I set my books down and said, "I'm sorry, but you are?"
"I'm Eugene, and can I just say how awesome of a party you threw the other day?!" He beamed. I laughed and realized that this was why they were all speaking to me. They enjoyed my party.
"Oh, um thanks." I said opening my English notebook. Just then, I saw Chase walk in and was greeted by the normal groupies he had. He sat in his usual spot and searched around the room for something. His eyes caught onto mine and I got really embarrassed knowing he caught me staring at him. He smirked meanwhile I turned around towards Eugene with flaming cheeks.
"You are definitely a shoo-in for prom queen, i'd so vote for you. I mean you're gorgeous and are the nicest girl in school." Eugene said leaning on his hands towards me. He was a sweet boy, and I was glad I met someone as decent as him. Even if it was because of the party Lizzie threw.
I turned towards him and said, "You really don't have to do that, plus prom queen isn't that big of a deal for me." He opened his mouth to say something but then the classroom door opened. I couldn't believe I was saying this, but I was beyond happy to see Mr. Farfukus come in. "So i'm forced to be back because your substitute ended up being a pervert, so try not to mess around today." he said rolling his eyes.
"Glad to have you back Farfuckus." Chase said deviously. All the girls laughed extra loud, and I even let out a small chuckle. One girl even yelled out, "You're so hot!!" These girls sure worshiped him.
"You little- ugh what's the point?" Mr. Farfukus sighed, "you won't ever change."
Chase leaned back on his chair smugly, and let the girl behind him fondle his hair. It was weird, but he did love having his hair touched. Of course I knew that, I mean he was my boyfriend.
---
I was proud enough to say that I didn't encounter Trish one time today. Every time I saw her during a passing period,i'd swerve the other way. I wasn't ready for another showdown. I mean it's not like I was scared of her, it's just that every time Trish came around, i'd have boulders hitting me. I meant that metaphorically, okay?
I walked into the lunchroom immediately spotting my group of friends. I made my way over and noticed we had a couple more people sitting with us. This time they were people I knew. Chase, and Julian were sitting next to Abigail and Mia. You already know that Abigail was drooling over them, but could you blame her? They were hot.
I walked over clutching the can of ravioli I hadn't eaten. "Hey guys.." I curiously said.
"Hey." they said in unison. I sat down next to Julian, and everyone around the table continued their conversations.
"So I've been hearing you might be prom queen this year." Julian said attaching his arm over my shoulder, missing the glare Chase was sending him.
"Eugene was telling me that too, but it honestly doesn't even matter to me that much." I said taking a bite of ravioli.
"Who's Eugene?" Chase said clenching his jaw. Oh boy here we go again.
I opened my mouth to say he was a new friend, but Lizzie had other plans. "Oh you know, her new boo thang." I stifled a laugh, because of the way Lizzie was smiling.
"That true?" Chase said. Suddenly, all eyes were on me and him. Julian's arm dropped from my shoulders. Lizzie had a smug look on her face. I'm gonna kill her one of these days.
I laughed nervously, "No, I literally met him today." I then shoved my face with ravioli to avoid further questions. The conversation on the table had switched to Abigail and her newest flame. I was trying to listen, but my mind suddenly went back to how Chase got so tense when I mentioned another guy. To be honest, it was sort of hilarious. The smile on my face was soon wiped off when I saw the she-devil hurling towards me.
Trish sped walk towards me with her Prada bag swinging, "You!" I looked around me and saw she must've been talking to someone else. To my dismay, she was speaking to me.
"Me?" I said with a mouthful of ravioli.
"If you just think that i'm gonna let you take away Prom Queen from me, you've got another thing coming."
Of course this is what her sudden appearance was about. "I honestly couldn't care less about that, it's not my fault people like me more." I said shrugging my shoulders.
Lizzie started laughing, Mia and Abigail were smirking. Julian said, "Burn" I sneaked a peak at Chase, and his eyes were on me. I turned back to a red faced Trish.
"They do not! I'm ten times hotter and richer." She said frantically. Could she get any more big headed? I didn't say anything else, which she took as a way to continue. "First, you steal my boyfriend. Second, my position as Volleyball captain. Now my title as Prom Queen?!"
This time I turned I stood up and faced towards her, "It sounds to me like you're jealous." I said in a sing song voice.
"You know what.." Trish quickly grabbed my lunch and threw it on top of my hair. I had ravioli going down my hair into my shirt. The entire cafeteria formed a bunch of 'Ohs' and 'Oos'. I was about to tell her off, and make matters worse. But, I decided on doing something that would sure piss her off a whole lot more. I walked over towards Chase and grabbed him by the shirt. I crashed my lips onto his, and soon heard Trish stomping off. He soon complied with my lips, and we were in a heated kissing session. Chase's scent consumed me, and I never wanted to leave his side ever. Unfortunately, someone had cleared their throats. I stepped away from Chase with burning cheeks.
"Is there something we should know about?" Kiki said suspiciously.
Was there?
