Ava's POV
--------------------------
I looked down at the floor in horror, Chase was throwing punches left and right to Peter. While Peter was just taking each hit. I had no clue why he didn't fight back. A crowd started to form around me chanting, "Fight Fight Fight." Julian then squeezed through the crowd to get a hold of Chase.
"Dudes, what did I say about getting blood on the polished floors!" Julian then somehow took a hold of Chase, and dragged him outside. Trish then ran outside to take a look at Chase .I looked at everyone, and they all seemed to be staring at me with accusing looks on their faces. They couldn't possibly think this was my fault? I immediately ignored them, to go after Peter who was walking out the door.
"Peter! Wait up, are you oka-" Peter then cut me off harshly.
"Don't Ava." Peter said upset.
"Peter what did I even do? You can't possibly blame Chase's outrage on me?" I said slowly losing my temper. Peter ignored me and kept walking outside, I had no choice but to follow him and make him see that this wasn't my fault.
"Can you just stop walking away from me?!" I yelled at Peter.
"Ava you don't get it! I could lose everything if the school finds out about this! You're too much drama, and I don't think I wanna risk my future for you." Peter yelled at me harshly. "Listen, I'm sorry. I gotta go." My eyes began to water, no one had ever said that to my face before. Maybe I was too much baggage, and I didn't deserve to be happy.
"Aves, you okay?" Lizzie looked at me worriedly. I shook my head, because if I felt if I talked I'd lose it. "Aw babe, come here." She then motioned for me to go and hug her. "Let's get you home."
"I'm taking her home." I looked up from Lizzie's shoulder to see Chase standing there with a scowl on his face.
"Chase it's fine, I can take her." Lizzie said looking intimidated.
"Did it look like I gave you much of a choice?"Chase said grabbing my wrist and pulling me towards his car. I turned around to see Lizzie mouthing a 'sorry.'
Chase opened the door for me, and I got inside. He walked over to the drivers side before saying some words, that I couldn't muster. He started the engine and we sped off. It was a couple of awkward minutes of silence before I said, "Why'd you hit him?"
Chase ignored me and kept speeding. "Answer me right now, or so help me god i'll get out of the car." I said in a demanding tone. He kept ignoring me and kept going faster. I had enough of people ignoring me so I opened the car door.
"AVA." Chase said slowing down, and putting the car to a stop.
"Chase, answer my question." I said growing impatient.
"I like you, okay?" Chase said running his hands over his hair in frustration. "Not like friends, I like you more than that. I hated seeing Peter all over you. Happy now?"
"Chase.. what about Trish.?" I said looking him in the eyes.
"I broke up with her tonight. I want you." Chase said grabbing the side of my face.
"I don't know what to say.." I said looking down.
"Don't say anything just think about it, okay?" Chase said starting the car. We drove home in silence, and eventually got home. I got out of his car and he walked me up to my door. "Think about what I said, and take your time."
I nodded my head and unlocked my door, I walked inside and shut the door. I didn't even bother to take my clothes or makeup off. I laid on my bed, and stared at the ceiling thinking about all the events that took place today. I couldn't believe Peter yelled at me today, he wasted no time in blaming me. I mean I couldn't help that Chase had a short temperament.
