Ava's POV

It was currently 8 o'clock and no one was ready. Lizzie kept running around the room to find a perfect place to record from. Jasper was worrying if he would be able to call 911 in time, and I was terrified something would go wrong. Anything could happen tonight, whether it was good or bad. I just hoped it wasn't the latter.

Lizzie found a place behind my alarm clock on my desk to place my phone. "Perfect! Don't forget to press play before answering the door, okay?" Lizzie said attaching a small mic inside my shirt. "Our secret word for help is gonna be waffles by the way."

"I won't forget anything, promise." I said sticking my pinkie finger out. She intertwined hers with mine and we made a promise. "Jasper will you please stop pacing back in forth?" I said catching sight of Jasper going mad.

"I can't help it! I'm nervous." He said taking a deep breath. Lizzie rolled her eyes and took a step towards him. She raised her hand and slapped him. Yes, you heard me right. She freaking slapped him.

"What the hell!" Jasper said touching his cheek.

"Snap out of it! You can't ruin our plans by being nervous." She said checking the time. "15 minutes until he's here. Let's get into places!"

Jasper grabbed his phone, and bolted out the door.I was assuming he was going to his designated area. Lizzie walked the opposite direction looking as calm as I had ever seen her. Lizzie and him had to be separated just in case something happened to the other one. This felt like I was a soldier in World War II.

I checked myself once more in the mirror, and fixed my black dress. By the time I finished the last touches to tidying up my room, the doorbell rung.

Lizzie's POV

Was I terrified? Yes. Was I trying to keep my cool so Ava would have an easier time? Yes. Would this  fall on me if it all went wrong? Absolutely. I just wanted Mia to be safe, as did Ava.  Mia didn't have the best track record with guys, which caused me to worry. After, Mr. Brey started dating her, I knew it wasn't the best idea. Considering, he seemed like a creep, and he knew better than to date a student. After the incident at the party, all I wanted was for him to be gone. The fact that Mia didn't believe Ava was understandable. She just wanted one of her relationships to work.

I hid myself behind the bush that was in front of the house. It was long and dense, but it did have an open view from the back. Thankfully, it was out of view from where Mr. Brey would be coming in. I put my headset on, and turned on my laptop. Ava was breathing heavy, wait, that's probably me. After checking to see if I was having a potential asthma attack, I heard footsteps going towards the door.

I heard Ava's footsteps and then a lock untwist. "Hey, Alex! Come on in."

It was showtime.

Ava's POV

"Hey, Alex! Come on in." I said leading him towards my bedroom.

"Thanks. Eager to have me in your room, huh?" Alex joked.

Hilarious. "Well all my school work is up there,  so I just thought it'd be easier." I said innocently. If only he knew the plans I had tonight.

We reached my bedroom, and I sat on the bed. He followed pursuit and sat close to me. This man sure didn't waste time geez. "So what do you need help with?" Alex grabbed a strand of my hair pushing it out of my face.

"English!" I squeaked. What? No pedophile has been that close to me. You can't expect me to become Jennifer Lawrence over night.

He chuckled and looked around my room. Please don't spot the camera, I repeated in my head many times. "Aren't you a little old for stuffed animals?" He said spotting my small collection of beanie babies. I don't care what anyone says, those things are the O.G stuffed animals.
