Ava's POV

------------------

No one ever appreciates Sundays. Everyone always thinks it's one step closer to Monday. For me, it gives me a lot of opportunities to catch up on homework, study for tests, and if you so happen to have a confusing guy who said he likes you but broke up with his girlfriend 5 minutes before confessing to you, then Sunday definitely gives you time to think about that. I didn't really feel like spending my Sunday thinking about Chase, I just wanted to lounge around all day and get things done.

First thing I did this morning was go on my overdue run. I hadn't ran since I found Chase getting beat to a pulp the first night I moved here. Why is it that everything reminds me of him?  I can't get by one thought without thinking of Chase and his glorious eyes. Crap! Snap out of it Ava. Go watch tv or something, jesus.

I walked downstairs into the kitchen, and saw a note from my dear mother.

Morning Hon! Didn't have time to go grocery shopping, do that today while i'm at work!
Also, make sure to give the pool guy a call, we need to fill up that empty hole in our backyard.
Oh! You'll probably have to walk to the grocery store, took the car too.

Kisses, Mommy!

Great, and I thought that i'd be able to relax today. Of course my mother forgot all her responsibilities while she goes and does who knows what. Ugh, I feel like such a grown up. I'm 17 years old, I shouldn't feel like an adult until i'm 18. I grab the spare credit card from the drawer, and decided to leave my friends alone today and walk to the super market. I lock the door and make my way along the sidewalk to the nearest Trader Joes.

"Need a ride?" Chase said driving slow in his car.

"Nah, I can walk. Thanks though." I said smiling. It was like I couldn't get away from Chase, not that I really wanted to. I mean who wouldn't wanna be near that hunk.

"Where are you headed?" Chase said.

"Trader Joes. At least I think I am?" I said confused.

"Well babe, you're walking the wrong way. C'mon i'll take you." Chase said motioning me over to his car. I blushed at hearing the word 'babe.'

"Chase, you looked like you were going somewhere. I'm fine." I said stubbornly.

"Ava. In." Chase said impatiently.

"No, i'm okay. Go." I said shooing him with my hand.

Chase was silent, and I thought he was done arguing with me. I was expecting to hear his car drive away, but instead I was picked up. I was dangling over Chase's shoulder, and then he threw me in the passenger seat. He ran over to his side, and started the car.

"You know this is considered kidnapping right?" I said buckling my seat belt.

"You don't seem to hate the idea." Chase said pointing out to my seat belt.

"If i'm gonna be kidnapped, might as well be safe am I right?" I said turning on the radio. "I LOVE THIS SONG!" I yelled.

I've been drinking, I've been drinking
I get filthy when that liquor get into me
I've been thinking, I've been thinking
Why can't I keep my fingers off you, baby?
I want you, na na
Why can't I keep my fingers off you, baby?
I want you, na na

"Jesus woman, my ears." Chase said putting a hand over my mouth. I started to speak, but of course it was all muffled by Chase's hand. "What? Sorry can't hear you." Chase said making fun of me.

I licked his hand, and he immediately took his hand away in disgust. "Point one for Ava, 0 for Chase." I said clapping my hands.
