When I find that boy, I'm going to throttle him

Camp Half-Blood

Thalia's p.o.v.

I woke up relatively early, sighing as the reality of yesterday came crashing down. My Seaweed Brain was gone.....

Wait, my Seaweed Brain? No, he is our Seaweed Brain.

I said out loud, " Gods, being near boys must be rubbing off on me. "

I yelped as a voice said, " Day dreaming, are we Lieutenant Grace? "

I looked up and saw Lady Artemis standing above me.

I blushed slightly, and said, " Being near men is starting to have a negative effect on me Milady, it'll wear off soon enough. "

Artemis didn't look convinced, but nodded, saying, " I assume you'll be absent from the Hunt for quite awhile? "

I stammered out, " How did you know Milady? "

Artemis said one word, " Perseus. "

I nodded as I felt my resolve strengthen. I don't know what the campers and Poseidon thought he did, but Percy would never do anything to betray them.

Artemis said, " Well? What are you waiting for child? Go get your cousin. "

Thalia nodded and got up, quickly starting to pack her things.

Artemis' p.o.v.

As I watched Thalia pack her bags, I felt in my gut that she would be gone for quite awhile. When I saw the look of determination on her face, and the way her eyes hardened, I knew her resolve has become stronger.

I sighed as I thought of another person suitable for the post of lieutenant.

No one came to mind, so I made the decision to stay at Camp Half-Blood for the immediate future. I would love to see my Hunters terrorize the males here.

My thoughts drifted to Percy Jackson, and I sighed. This boy had held up the sky for me, ran across the country for his friend, and even went into Tartarus for her. No one had ever done those feats for a maiden, and as much as I hate to say it, he has gained my respect. No other man has ever done that, in such a pure level. Perhaps we were wrong to shun him, to push him away...

He is, after all, a very suitable fighter. His skills and determination led us through the second Titan war, and the second Giant war. If any other foe at their level showed up...the results without Percy would not be pretty. In fact, I'm worried that even my Hunters will fall in battle.

I snapped from my thought as Thalia said, " I'm off Milady, I shall find him quickly. "

I said, " Take your time Ms. Grace, we shall stay here until further notice. "

Thalia's eyes showed relief as she nodded, putting her pack onto her shoulder, and marched out of the cabin.

New York City

Percy's p.o.v.

I sighed as I saw a huge group of tourists ahead of me. Wherever you looked in New York, they were there. Gods, they are like parasites.

I made my way through the crowd, ignoring their stares as they looked at my batter body.

My eyes, once so full of life and sparkling, were dull, lifeless. My body was covered in bleeding wounds, my shirt and jeans were tattered. My shoes were falling apart, covered in golden dust that stained them.

I had been through a lot of monster fights recently, I had run out of ambrosia and nectar a few months ago, and I decided that before I die, I should visit my mother.
