Camp Half-Blood
Thalia's p.o.v.
After I calmed down, I pulled away from Annabeth, ignoring her attempts to explain. I got up and walked towards my stupid brother Devin. The campers all made way to him, terrified at how quiet I was.
My said brother was trembling in fear, stuck in place as he watched me walk up to him.
Devin tried to speak, but I cut him off by gripping his throat, cutting off his oxygen supply. He gasped for air as I lifted him into the air, and I said in a quiet, but deadly voice, " Listen here you little twerp, you just cost me a very good friend. Someone I could have a future with. Someone I had started to love..."
Most campers gasped at that, while a few looked at her in utter shock, like Annabeth. No one thought she was capable of loving someone like that, since she was a Hunter of Artemis.
" I am going to make sure you suffer the most anyone has ever suffered in the underworld. I don't care if I have become Hades' bitch, you will regret every being born! "
My brother just nodded mutely, his face getting purplish.
I let him down and took satisfaction in the fact that he was gasping for air. After a few seconds, he got out, " Hades' bitch, huh? I thought you were already the bitch of the gods, being with that whore Artemis. "
I stayed still for a few moments, ignoring the campers crying out in terror and running away from me. I took out my knife and dragged my brother into the forest. No one bothered to stop me as I began to give him what he deserved.
August's p.o.v.
As I listened to that monster Devin get tortured by Thalia, I felt...free. But it felt wrong, because no one deserved that, even that idiot. I had to cover my ears at one point because it reminded me of how my mother screamed. I didn't need those memories to come back up, I've had enough torture for my whole life.
Soon, the screams faded, and I saw Thalia dragging a limp body to the infirmary. Good, she isn't completely heartless. Although based off what Percy told me, you don't want to make Thalia mad. She will be worse that even Tartarus apparently.
I got up from my chair on the Big House's porch, and walked towards her nervously. When I got close enough to her, I said, " Thalia? I-Is he gonna be ok? "
Thalia looked over at me and said, " Oh, hey August. Yes he will be ok, he just got some reminders of what he is. They won't fade either, until he admits he made a mistake. So, since his fatal flaw makes it impossible for him to admit he is wrong, he will always have those scars. "
I nodded nervously, afraid to upset her. Thalia laughed as she saw my expression, and said, " Relax kiddo, I won't hurt you, you've done nothing wrong. Not to mention Percy saw to your care...If he did, then I'll make sure you're doing ok. "
I once again nodded, taking in how beautiful she looked in the moonlight. The silver glow around her was...fading?
"Uh, Thalia, the silver glow around you is fading. "
Thalia said, " I know it is August, I expected it to the moment I said I loved a man. Being a Hunter of Artemis means I swear off men for all eternity. If I break my vow, well, not only will I anger the hunt, but I lose the immortality I gain from it. Lady Artemis just released me from being in her hunt. It was fun while it lasted, but now I'm alone... "
I said, " You're not alone, you have me Thalia! "
Thalia smiled as she nodded, saying, " Yeah, I guess I do. Now come on kiddo, let's go to your cabin, where you can stay while you're here. "
