Hestia's p.o.v.
Mount Tamalpais
I scoffed as she watched the Titans fight, loathing their boastful lies. They were all weak right now, recently reformed from Tartarus. They couldn't even hurt a fly if they wanted to. And all of the testosterone they were producing made them want to see who could pick me up the fastest. As if, I know how men are because of my father.
I watched as Krios dragged in Rhea, Kronos' wife. It was sickening to watch them toy with the Titaness that had gone dark for so long. I don't know what I was thinking joining the Titans. Even though the Gods are idiots, they are so much better than these pinheads. Although how my father managed to reform is beyond me. He was scattered so thin because of Percy Jackson that we all just assumed he could never reform a consciousness again.
I winced as I heard his voice speak, remembering when my mother begged him not to eat me. " My brethren, we have risen again! The Gods have thrown away their greatest hero! Perseus Jackson was killed by one of our very own, Atlas! He finally proved he was worthy to be my commander! "
The Titans clapped for Atlas, who stood up and bowed. As he sat down, I saw my fathers eyes fall onto me. I involuntarily winced as he said, " And we have a new ally. Another God turned Titaness, my daughter, Hestia. "
The Titans grinned at having a very powerful adversary they would've had to fight on their side.
" She has renownced her Godly side, and embraced the truth, she is a Titaness! "
As the Titans clapped vigorously, I heard Ares whisper in my head, " Keep it going Hestia. If Henry's plan is going to work, and I get to throw Jackson around, you need to play along. They need to think you are their side, so work your magic! "
I sighed and gave a weak smile to the Titans, praying this nightmare would be over.
I blinked in surprise as I saw an Iris message appear. It showed Artemis slowly making her way to the top of Mount Tamalpais. She peered around the crumbling black pillars, taking in the harsh but beautiful design of the old Titan stronghold. She shook her head and walked farther into the Titan stronghold, her guard up. She stopped and was about to shoot her bow as a deer rounded a pillar. She let the taunt bow string tension lessen as she sighed, lowering her guard. She didn't see Heracules grab her, nor did she ever have anyway to fight back. She gave out a yelp of pain as Heracules threw her at Atlas, forcing the weight of the sky on her back. As she got into a kneeling poisition, she spat out, " Zeus spawn, betrayed us finally? "
Heracules grinned and said, " You're right, whore, I'm sick and tired of being treated like I'm nothing. I'm the strongest demigod turned god, yet I'm a minor one. I deserve better, I"m stronger than every single one of you Olympians. Atlas promised that I'll be converted to a Titan, and that I'll be stronger than even my upstart father. "
Artemis growled, and said, " You shall be stripped of your godhood and be reduced to ashes, boy! "
Heracules laughed and walked off. " Without that Jackson boy, you're hopeless. Get used to holding the sky Artemis, you'll be my trophy, the last Olympian. "
As the Titans clapped, seeing it was a reminder, I heard something different in my head.
A different voice, a female one, whispered in my head. " This is but one path that was chosen and made a reality Hestia. You have many paths, but only one shall lead you to the one you desire. Choose wisely, my niece, many lives depend on it. "
I pondered on what the voice said, then determined that it was time for my plan to go into action.
I stepped forward and cleared my throat, grabbing everyone's attention.
