Christine finally had also fallen asleep after hear John calling out her name, drunkenly down the halls of the hotel. She did miss him, but he did drink way too much, maybe she drank too much too and they just were not a good match anymore, not to say that she would never take him back, but not now anyway.
Christine awoke after what felt like forever with a slight headache and felt pretty lazy. The sun was lighting up the beige curtains and shining through a gap in them. Stevie was curled up to her and Christine couldn't help but smile. Stevie looked content and Christine's heart warmed at how safe Stevie felt with her, she didn't want to wake her but she cussed when she saw the time "Shit, we are supposed to be recording in ten minutes!" she exclaimed.
"Stevie, wakey wakey!" she said tapping Stevie, not getting a reply
Christine repeated this action another three times until finally Stevie opened her golden brown eyes "What?" she groaned.
"We have to get to the studio in ten minutes!" said Christine patting Stevie's shoulder.
Stevie felt pretty terrible, she was tired and had a throbbing headache and her nose was stuffy from the amount of cocaine she had been doing lately, she did not feel like getting up, she let out a large sigh and curled back against Christine.
"Come on, hun!" Said Christine sitting up and running her hand through Stevie's messy golden curls.
"Fine, you go get ready, I'll catch up!" she mumbled.
"Stevie, I have left you three times before and then you didn't show up until three hours later!" laughed Christine.
Stevie giggled "Okay, I'll get up, only because I don't want you stressing!"
"Good girl!" smiled Christine getting off the bed and stretching when there was a knock at the door.
Christine walked over and opened it seeing Lindsey standing there looking impatient, his blue grey eyes looked annoyed "I was seeing if Stevie was up yet, I'm sick of her being late, we will never get this album finished with her timing!" He snapped.
"She's getting up now Linds." answered Christine.
"Is she fucking you now too?" he added sarcastically smirking.
"Grow up Lindsey, where's your groupie?" replied Christine already getting annoyed, it was clear Lindsey was hung over, shitty and being completely obnoxious "Didn't you get any last night?" added Christine.
Lindsey's brow crinkled "Wouldn't you like to know, See you at the studio!" he said turning around rubbing his hand through his thick brown curls and proceeding to walk away, Christine usually always shut him up or calmed him down.
Stevie was sitting on the bed when Christine turned around after closing the door "Jerk!" she snarled pissed off with Lindsey.
"Don't let it bother you love, you know how he is, he will always be shitty because you dumped him," added Christine pulling a cigarette out of the packet that was Stevie's dresser, grabbing a lighter and proceeding to light it.
"I'm too tired and feel to shit to care about him anyway!" said Stevie crawling over the bed closer to the nightstand and undoing her special pendant on her gold necklace and tipping out some cocaine on the nightstand.
"Bit early isn't it Steves?" asked Christine slightly worried.
"No, I need to function, I feel dead!" replied Stevie cutting the white powder into three fat lines and crinkling up her fifty dollar bill.
Christine rolled her blue eyes "Well your clearly awake, so I'd better go get ready, see you at the studio soon!"
"See you soon and Chris!" Stevie answered.
